Red Creek Getaway 2 houses on 500 acres, with hot tub and access to 5 sandbars!

  • 2 houses located on Red Creek. 1st house has 4 bedrooms 2 queens in downstairs bedrooms and 1 full bed in loft. 2 twins upstairs. 3 Full bathrooms with a tub showers. 2nd house has 2 bedrooms, 1 king and 2 queens. Living room has a sofa bed. It has 1 full bathroom with a shower. 500 acres surround the area making it very private and peaceful. Gated access. Five sand bars with trails that lead to them. 7 person hot tub outside on the deck. Large screened porch for enjoying your morning coffee and visiting with friends and family. Wildlife roam the property so keep your eyes open for deer and Turkey. You will think you have your own little sanctuary. Kayaks and canoes are available on site. The property is about 35 miles north from the Gulf Coast and less than a 5 minute drive from Wiggins.
    Not responsible for flooding of the creek.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful 500-acre property and even hosted our small intimate wedding here. The scenery was absolutely stunning and made the perfect backdrop for such a special weekend. The newly renovated houses were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of room for everyone. The large porch quickly became our family’s favorite gathering spot — perfect for relaxing, visiting, and enjoying the beautiful views together. We also loved the hot tub after long days exploring the property. Riding the electric bikes, checking out the trails and sand bars, and spending evenings around the fire pit made the stay even more memorable. The screened-in porch was another peaceful spot we enjoyed every day. If you’re looking for a private getaway, family retreat, or beautiful place for a small wedding, this property is truly special. We would absolutely stay again!

This is a great place to stay! The property has a lot of character. We had a family reunion here with multiple families staying. There was ample room to hang out together and places for privacy as well.

This place was amazing... definitely staying again. We seen wild turkeys, rabbits, and deer. Everything about the houses was perfect. I wish there was some kinda history of the house, it is pretty old, and i love history.

Peaceful, relaxing family vacay

This was our second stay and it is becoming one of our favorites. Loved all the updates! If you want peace and quiet in nature, this is the place for you. We were too busy enjoying the sand, sun, and water to take pictures.

Wiggins Family Getaway

This was our family getaway. Enjoying some nature & good country living. The kids enjoyed kayaking on the beautiful creek, sand bars, riding the trails, hot tub, & campfire smores. It was a great place to stay !

Family gathering for wedding

This property was a perfect location for all of our out of town guest to be together in one location as we repeated for and celebrated my son’s wedding. There was plenty of space and the property is in a peaceful scenic setting that we all enjoyed. We will certainly be back for a summer vacation.

Sincerely may be my favorite place in the world!

Adventureland Paradise

From check in to check out we enjoyed every second of this beautiful property. Riding trails, kayaking, open fire cooking, fishing, and more! Beautiful home and guest house as well. We WILL be back often! Best ever VRBO experience.

Another Great Stay

This is our second time to stay, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. The new renovations are a splendid improvement: another full bath on the first floor, full bathroom on the second floor and a sky bridge connecting the second story twin bedroom with the loft bedroom. Twelve family members were able to stay and six others joined us on Memorial Day for a cookout on the deck. We will be back!

Perfect

This property was perfect for my family and I. We played in the creek and the hot tub most days, but also went on walks down the many trails and even played basketball. The back porch is perfect for morning coffee sits and the quiet is so peaceful.

Relaxing run on the river

This place is granny chic. We loved the decor, screened in porch surrounded by trees and birds, floating and fishing on the river, and playing cards around the dinning room table. One of our best vacations!!

Tucked away

Loved exploring the property. We took small hikes to the sandbars. We saw so many deer. Linens were fresh and place was clean. Close enough to town but also far enough away to feel secluded. Perfect place to get away.

Awesome doesn't do justice for this property!

Extremely quiet and peaceful area, beautiful home with all the necessary amenities for entertainment or doing nothing but watching the river. I wish I would had a golf cart or atv the place is that expansive.

Peace of mind and nostalgic

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It was my whole family brothers, sisters, mom, dad, and etc. It brought us back to when we were young. The serenity of the property, enjoyment of the creek. My family now wants to make this property a yearly vacation.

Amazing as Always

Want a place for frequent quality family time indoors and outdoors? This is THE place to be. Ride trails, hike, kayak, fish, campfire cooking, grilling, soaking in the hot tub and much more! Thank you Chris for putting together such an amazing space. We will be back next October again!

Beautiful retreat

This place brought back so many memories of swimming and camping on Red Creek. We live only a few miles from this property, and with our son and his children visiting from Minnesota as well as our daughters and their families from Baton Rouge, this was the perfect place to stay and make new memories. We enjoyed swimming, floating, fishing. Everything this property offered. We will be back!

Absolutely perfect place to stay!!

We only live 7 minutes from this location, but we felt like we were a million miles from home! We saw deer, turkeys and rabbits!! The sandbars and creek were beautiful!! Both houses felt like home! Very clean and had everything we needed! We will definitely be back!! Chris is a wonderful host!!

Beautiful view

All in all We had a good time at this river-side rental and found a short walk of about 10 -15 minutes along a river until we arrived to a sandy beach, the only river access we found. We attempted to drive the much longer trail to the same sandy beach, to haul our cooler and canopy but got stuck and had an adventure until a tow truck we called came and towed us out. I don’t recommend trying to drive the trail labeled “1st sand bar”. The view here is beautiful! The river is gorgeous with shallow spots and the land is quiet. Bring your discs, there is a disc golf basket, the basketball goal was broken when we were there.
