    Mandurah is one of Western Australia’s most popular coastal destinations, known for its beautiful waterways, relaxed lifestyle and wild dolphins. Located just under an hour south of Perth, it is a favourite spot for weekend escapes, beach holidays and exploring the Peel region.

    Halls Head is a picturesque coastal suburb of Mandurah with easy access to beaches, waterfront dining and family-friendly attractions.

    Beaches & Waterways
    Halls Head Beach is a popular family-friendly beach with pristine sand and calm waters, perfect for swimming, picnics and relaxed days by the ocean. Facilities include toilets, change rooms and a children’s playground.

    Mandurah is also famous for its extensive estuary and canal waterways, home to wild dolphins and offering great opportunities for boating, fishing, kayaking and waterfront walks.

    Family Attractions
    King Carnival, one of Western Australia’s oldest amusement parks, features mini-golf, rides and arcade games enjoyed by visitors of all ages.

    Just 4 Fun Aqua Park is an inflatable water park with slides and obstacles, providing a fun day out for families.

    Mandurah Dolphin Tours offer boat trips where visitors can see dolphins in their natural habitat while enjoying scenic waterways.

    Dining & Cafés
    Dolphin Quay, located at the Mandurah Ocean Marina, offers waterfront cafés and restaurants serving a range of cuisines.

    The Mandurah Foreshore is another popular dining precinct with casual cafés, restaurants and fresh local seafood, along with markets and community events.

    The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre hosts theatre, music and dance performances throughout the year, while the Mandurah Community Museum provides insight into the region’s history and heritage.

    Distance from Perth
    Mandurah is approx 78 km south of Perth, with a drive time of around 50–55 minutes, making it an easy destination for a day trip or coastal getaway.



    You will receive the access details a few days before your arrival, once you complete a quick ID and card verification via our Guest App - similar to hotel check-in — to ensure safety and peace of mind for all. A $750 security hold (required by our insurer) is placed and automatically released after your stay once house rules are confirmed and no damage is noted.

    We have a spa bath but is currently undergoing repairs so not available from March to July 2025 until further notice

    Designed for relaxed waterfront stays, this home offers a comfortable and practical layout, ideal for families or small groups wanting to enjoy the Mandurah lifestyle.

    The central kitchen overlooks the living and dining areas and flows directly onto the outdoor entertaining space with canal views, creating an easy indoor-outdoor living experience.

    Upstairs, a second lounge with bar provides additional space to unwind or spread out.

    Bus Services: Regular buses operate through Halls Head, connecting you to Mandurah Station and surrounding suburbs. From Mandurah Station, you can access Perth and other parts of the region via train. Check local timetables for up-to-date routes and schedules.
    Train Services: Mandurah Station is just a short drive or bus ride away. From here, you can take the Mandurah Line to Perth in approximately 50 minutes, making day trips to the city easy and hassle-free.
    Taxi Services: Local taxi services operate throughout Mandurah and Halls Head. They provide reliable transport for quick trips around the area or transfers to and from Mandurah Station.
    Rideshare (Uber): Uber is widely available in Halls Head, offering a convenient, on-demand transport option for both short and longer trips.
    With these transport options, exploring the beauty of Halls Head and the surrounding areas is straightforward and convenient!

    We use a simple check-in process similar to a hotel, including ID verification and a refundable security hold prior to arrival.

    • The home is set on open water — supervision is recommended for young children
    • Air-conditioning is provided in key areas of the home; however, during extreme summer temperatures, upper levels may be warmer
    • Security cameras are positioned at the front of the property for safety
    • Guests are welcome to bring their own boat — please contact us prior to arrival

    Pets are permitted only with the Manager's prior written approval. Dogs are generally accepted at designated pet-friendly properties, subject to the applicable pet fee and these House Rules. Cats and any other animals require specific written approval before arrival and may be declined at the Manager's discretion. Approval of one type of pet does not constitute approval of any other animal. $150 per pet per stay.

    Guests travelling with pets must ensure that pets remain off beds and upholstered furniture, are appropriately supervised, and do not cause damage to the property. Cats must use a suitable litter tray at all times. Guests are responsible for any additional cleaning or damage caused by their pets.

    Security & verification
    - Guests are required to complete a quick ID verification prior to arrival. A $750 security hold is placed and released after departure once the property has been checked.
    - The security deposit or security hold is not a limit of the Guest's liability. Guests remain fully responsible for the full cost of repairing or replacing any damage, specialist cleaning, odour remediation, pest treatment, replacement of furnishings, loss of income or any other losses arising from their stay, regardless of whether those costs exceed the amount of the security deposit.
    - Security deposits are determined according to the nature and duration of the booking. Extended stays, insurance accommodation and other higher-risk bookings may require a higher security deposit to reflect the increased occupancy period and potential impact on the property. The required security deposit will be advised before arrival.

    Neighbourhood & respect
    This is a peaceful residential area. We ask guests to keep noise to a minimum, particularly outdoors in the evening.

    This is a well-maintained coastal home with original character, offering space, comfort and a relaxed holiday feel. It is not a newly renovated or luxury hotel-style property, but provides excellent value in a premium waterfront location.

    This property operates under a firm cancellation policy. We recommend guests take travel insurance.

    No refunds are given for incorrect booking details, including wrong guest numbers or undeclared pets.

    Base pricing includes up to 8 guests. The home can accommodate up to 12 guests, with an additional per person, per night fee applied for larger groups. Please ensure your booking reflects the correct number of guests for accurate pricing.

Amazing place

Fantastic house and Amenities. Even included small touches like coffee pods and good options in the pantry. Lovely place and amazing views over the canals

Water views excellent! Neighbourhood safe, easy walking distances to besches cafes foreshore.Unfortunately, certain sections of this property require some urgent maintenance, particularly outdoors. It could be because: waterfront and salt water deterioration, a pole which was rusted was off above pergola. when this was raised with agent I was told ‘ this property isnt hotel & maintenance would be advised no immediate fix offered. This highly disappointing:hope these matters are sorted before the next tenants as possible contravene WHS rulesSimilarly, the requirements to sign & agree to numerous costs, fines for incidentals: like Failure to put a bin out front of property would cost 100 fee!!! And messy BbQ would cost charge 200 were both unexpected and in my opinion unnecessary- surely in BBQ left dirty this could be recouped from security bond fee? I’m unsure if person can be charged for failing to put dishwasher on or bin out - certainly read as heavy handed legalese manner to me. Some windows/doors were left unlocked on my arrival property and several windows would not lock!As I was travelling solo with my outdoor pet this highly concern to me- I had to find creative methods to secure property windows!Again, this mentioned to the property contact: reply being that the cleaners must’ve left these ajar.I would actually guess, that the property being unoccupied for such a long time, was being used by itinerants!Propertypet friendly lawns need treatment prickleseed

Unfortunately the house is old and tied.The stair case is a accident waiting to happen For the price being charged, you don’t expect to find cooking trays unusable, brown gooey mess under the fry pan, cobwebs in the ceiling and a major crack in the upstairs bathroom. I could go on but I want. Other than to say. The house needs a thorough face lift before being rented out again. We feel we left the house cleaner than when we first went in. With the exception of mopping the floor as we could not find a mop
