“While relatively spartan, Castello di Morcicchia is a superb place to spend time in a serene, peaceful setting in the Umbrian countryside, far from the maddening tourist hordes. The Castle is within easy driving distance of Umbria's most renowned hilltop towns and many smaller ones. There are some very pretty walks into the surrounding forests. And a fantastic terrace at the top of the castle on which to sit in the sun and gaze at the sublime vistas.”

“Prachtig huis, binnen de muur van een middeleeuwse Borgo. We werden warm ontvangen door Mariella, bij het taalprobleem hielp Google. We kregen zelfs een eerste doos haardhout. Hebben zelf bijgekocht want de haard was erg fijn (december).Het huis was goed schoon. Twee minpunten: De verwarmingsketel heeft wel onderhoud nodig. We hebben diverse keren moeten resetten. De afwasmachine was kapot.”

“Même si ce logement est atypique et c est pour ça que nous l avons choisi il reste que le ménage reste léger un minimum de vaisselle mais surtout l extérieur pas entretenu piscine pour les grenouilles eau verdâtre mobilier jardin à l abandon et le soir disant petit resto du soir abandonné aussi.”

“So beautiful! The space was functional - modern yet kept the essence of the property. The views out the window of the kitchen and from the patio at the top of the tower span the entire valley. The master bedroom is gorgeous and comfortable (AC in the bedrooms). The bathrooms all have walk-in showers with heated towel bars. It has to be the very best space to rent in Montefalco. Very clean, nice linens, clothes washer-dryer, dishwasher, cooktop, oven - all high end and new. You would think that...
