Of note there are no extra blankets for your bed, or a throw to cuddle under for the couch, the mattress pads/covers were on the box spring/foundation and not the mattress itself so just a sheet on bare mattress. “This is one of the most peaceful trips we have ever taken. We hiked every day and spent time under the magnificentredwoods and exploring the small towns. I used to stay in Santa Cruz then visit the trees and trails. I will stay in the trees and visit Santa Cruz from now on. I needed the host's help with one minor thing. “Overall, the little cabin at Masood’s Lodge was quaint and fairly well kept. Lots of areas set up to enjoy outside location. However, the linens or mattress in the bedroom smelled absolutely terrible (not sure if mattess had been vomited on at some point—there was no mattress pad on the bed to protect it) and did not want to use it. That is what ruined the stay for me. Everything else was fine.”
