Si de repente quieres cambiar el estilo de comida, frente al hotel hay unas hamburguesas muy buenas. Para quienes no han estado en este tipo de hoteles antes (como nosotros), los futones los pone el personal del hotel como a las 7pm, así que regresas de tu día y ya está arreglado.”

“Our stay at Guesthouse Koundo was excellent. It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. We were kindly allowed to leave our bags early, which was a great help because we had a lot of luggage. The home is kept in pristine condition,...

“Muy cómodo, el personal muy amable, unica pega que no hablan inglés, pero lo salvan con su gran amabilidad. La habitación muy espaciosa y muy limpio todo. Me gustó mucho el hotel. Solo tienen wifi en la recepción, seria mejor que hubiera en las habitaciones también.”

“If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The house has all commodities (the hosts even offered to help us with the laundry since the washing machine was out of order), all rooms are spotless clean and the surroundings are incredible, albeit a bit far from Nikko station. The host was incredibly kind, making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. I really cannot recommend this place enough, and when I visit Nikko again, I will not even bother searching for a...
