Lovely Holiday Cottage
- A Victorian Brick and Flint Stable Block converted into a two bedroom luxury holiday cottage in the heart of the Meon Valley and within the South Downs National Park. The Stables have been sympathetically converted and retain the high ceiling and wooden beams in the main living area. PLEASE NOTE WHEN WORKING OUT RATES - A 2 NIGHT STAY IS 50% of weekly rate - 3 N 60% -4N 70% . If the rates for two nights do not work out at this , please do get in touch and I will edit the rate. Always worth getting in touch re prices - the new way prices are worked out on VRBO make it tricky to get the 3 and 4 night breaks at the correct price - so don't be put off - get in touch :) Please note we do only allow one dog - no cats!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is spacious and very well appointed. The hosts live on the property (it's a working farm) and Victoria was extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this property.

A Perfect Country Experience

Really enjoyed our stay. The dogs were secure in the garden along with the car. Very peaceful location. The accommodation had all that was needed including fans as it was very hot. Would consider staying again.

Lovely cozy cottage with a personal touch. The Christmas tree, the first essentials and brownies like we never tasted before.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The location was excellant, a lovely village and stunning views of the downs within walking distance. Also the welcome gifts from the owner were fantastic - the brownies are to die for!!!! Thankyou

Peaceful country cottage
The Stables proved a homely, relaxing country experience within a beautiful setting. The village is only minutes walk away and is a true piece or rural Britain where people stop and say hello, talk in the general store and where time seems to stand still.
The host, Victoria, baked delicious gluten free brownies and provided a lovely starter kit for our stay. Communication was A1 and we were made most welcome, a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Great cottage in the countryside
We spent 11 nights in this beautiful cottage in a quiet village. The associated farm is right next door.There was a warm welcome with brownies and wine by our hosts.
For 4 adults the cottage is really spacious and it is well equipped.
The car park is on the premises.

Owners wonderfully Friendly & flexible.
A little hidden gem set in stunning countryside. We didn’t want or need anything as the property was so well stocked .. The friendly owners left a lovely welcome pack with Victoria’s legendary home made Brownies. The best we have ever tasted.

Cosy place to stay
We arrived to torrential rain.
The host had left the heating and lights on for us, which felt so welcoming.
There were lots of goodies for us to enjoy too- especially the brownies! The host had thought of everything- thank you so much!

Great base for exploring
Lovely little property, great for exploring Hampshire, Sussex and beyond. Appreciated kitchen cupboards full of things you may need so you don't have to buy/bring staple items. And Victoria provided the best welcome pack we’ve ever received - her homemade brownies are to die for!!
