Located in an environment of absolute tranquillity, Ses Covetes is a holiday home in Petra, Mallorca, that combines rural charm with modern comfort. In 2025, the house has been completely restyled, offering renovated spaces that reflect a harmonious combination of contemporary design and Mallorcan essence. Every detail has been designed to offer an unforgettable experience, ideal for families and groups of friends looking to disconnect and experience the authenticity of the island.
INTERIOR: SPACIOUS AND BRIGHT SPACES
The house, distributed on a single floor, stands out for its open design and luminosity. Its spacious rooms allow you to enjoy comfort without losing connection with the outside environment.
The rooms:
Three double rooms, designed for absolute rest.
The main room has a double bed, a large dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with shower and Whirlpool bath, providing a private and cosy space.
The second room also has a double bed, with a decoration that invites you to relax.
The third room, with two single beds of 90 cm, is ideal for friends or children.
A second full bathroom with shower and an additional toilet ensure comfort for all guests.
The common areas:
The large living-dining room is the heart of the house. Its cosy fireplace invites you to enjoy long conversations, while the billiards table adds a touch of entertainment to share with the group.
The indoor dining room, with a modern design wooden table, creates an elegant and cosy atmosphere for meals.
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a special dinner. Its functional and open design favours comfort and conviviality.
OUTSIDE: NATURE, RELAXATION AND UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS
The exterior of Ses Covetes is a real refuge for enjoying the open air. With different areas for relaxation, gastronomy and leisure, each corner has been designed to make the most of the natural environment.
Three porches with different atmospheres:
Outdoor dining room, perfect for al fresco lunches and dinners, with open views of the Mallorcan landscape.
Outdoor lounge, a cosy space where you can relax with a book, have a coffee or simply contemplate the tranquillity of the countryside.
Barbecue area, equipped with a large table and everything you need to enjoy barbecues with friends.
The pool and outdoor entertainment:
The house has a large private pool, ideal for cooling off on sunny days. For added security, it can be closed if there are small children among the guests.
Next to the barbecue area, the little ones have their own fun space in the children`s playhouse, designed to stimulate their imagination and provide hours of entertainment.
The outdoor laundry room, equipped with a washing machine and iron, adds functionality without interfering with the aesthetics of the surroundings.
A magical environment at nightfall:
When the sun goes down, Ses Covetes is enveloped in a special atmosphere. From the main porch, guests can admire the view of the church of Petra illuminated, a visual spectacle that adds a unique touch to the stay. The Villa is entirely for guests

Joan and I will receive you personally. We like to welcome our guests on the first day so that they can get to know us from the very first moment and clarify any doubts that may arise from the beginning. Our intention is that our guests can enjoy a holiday in which they can get to know the real Mallorca and feel at home.

Petra and its surroundings: an authentic corner of Mallorca

Located in the heart of Mallorca, Petra is a town with deep historical roots and a strong agricultural tradition. Surrounded by hills, vineyards and almond trees, this quiet enclave offers an authentic experience, far from the tourist bustle.

History and heritage
Petra is the birthplace of Fray Junípero Serra, founder of missions in California. His legacy is preserved in a museum and a statue in the main square. The Gothic church of Sant Pere is another of the town`s emblems.

Gastronomy and local products
The town offers cellars and restaurants where you can taste traditional dishes such as arròs brut (a rice dish) or frit mallorquí (a meat and vegetable dish). It is also a wine-growing area, ideal for enjoying local wines.

Nature and activities
Cycling and hiking: Petra is the starting point for routes through fields and vineyards.
Bonany Sanctuary: Offers spectacular views and a peaceful environment.
Weekly market: Fresh produce and local handicrafts are sold here every Wednesday.

From Petra you can easily reach:

Petra is a quiet town with good transport links, ideal for exploring Mallorca with ease. Although it is possible to explore the centre on foot, to get around the surrounding area and discover other corners of the island, it is advisable to have your own vehicle.
Car: the best option for exploring
Being in the centre of the island, having a hire car is the most comfortable and quickest way to get around. The roads are in good condition and allow you to reach beaches, towns such as Manacor or Sineu, and places of interest such as the Sanctuary of Bonany in less than 30 minutes.
Public transport: limited connections
Petra has a train station with regular connections to Palma and Manacor. It`s a convenient option for visiting the capital without worrying about parking. However, buses are less frequent, so relying on public transport can limit your mobility.
Cycling: an alternative for sports enthusiasts
The area is popular with cyclists, with quiet back roads and routes through rural landscapes. If you like cycling, getting around by bike is an attractive option.
Taxi and private transport services
There are options for local taxis and private transfers, although it is advisable to book in advance, especially in high season.
In short, to make the most of Petra and its surroundings, the best option is to rent a car or, for the more active, to explore the area by bicycle.
