We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was an awful experience from start to finish. The host says “Paul Patrick” but it’s a property mgmt company that was unresponsive. I was given the wrong address, wrong unit, wrong door code, and wrong Wi-Fi. My kids and I spent about 10 minutes trying to enter the wrong apartment, and when the host called me back he said I was at the wrong unit and gave me a different codeAfter finally getting inside, communication stopped. Both Vrbo and I attempted to reach the host/property mgmt company all evening and again the next morning with no response.The unit itself is filthy and not maintained—stained walls, furniture, doors, visible damage throughout, hair and crumbs on the sheets, and extremely poor-quality beds. The host has not been in this unit. The damage is extensive. It was not properly cleaned or stocked: the kitchen had two forks and a teaspoon. Both toilets made loud noises throughout the night, and the hall bath lights turned on and off on their own.Neighboring units were hosting loud parties, and the hallway wreaked of marijuana—something my children noticed immediately. Not family friendly.We arrived in the evening and left the next morning - the unit was not livable. I spent 6 hours on Thanksgiving Day working with Vrbo to find altern accommodations for my family.Despite paying for 3 nights, they reimbursed me for 1 and took 4 weeks to agree to that.
