The cottage is beautiful, check in was easy and smooth, all the facilities you needed were there. We felt right at home and wish we could have stayed longer. Sarah is a great host and was contacted easily. Philadelphia is a short drive away so you have both the History of Valley Forge And Philly on your doorstep,

Wonderful stay!

So comfortable
We had a wonderful long weekend here. First, the location was perfect for so many things we wanted to do (Valley Forge, Brandywine Museum, Gettysburg). Second, the carriage house is very cozy, especially the wonderful bed and bedroom. We bought a few items so that we could have breakfast but the kitchen was otherwise equipped to accommodate us. Loved Sarge’s visits, the sheep and chickens. We will be back!

Loved our stay!
Sarah was the best VRBO host ever! So thoughtful and caring. She checked in with us multiple times, offered recommendations, asked if there was anything to make our stay more comfortable, accommodated an early check-in, and left some drinks for us! We loved our stay! It is very close to Valley Forge National Park. We drove into Philly multiple times. The country setting and historical home is just perfect! We loved having the Alexa, the water pressure was amazing, the shower is great for tall people, the mattress is super comfortable, and we loved having a couch cover for our dogs. There are also streaming options on the TV! I was able to work remotely with the excellent internet. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Welcoming Atmosphere
Quick trip to PA to visit family and friends over holidays. The apartment was meticulously clean although a bit too warm. The owner offered to replace thermostat we just made do with turning on the A/C to reduce temp. Super responsive and friendly hosts. And their dog Sarge is sweet. Loved hearing the hens clucking (beautiful New Hampshire reds I think) and the sheep next door are adorable. Two additions needed: a toaster and a tea kettle. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely place close to Valley Forge
The Carriage House is in a nice, quiet location that is close to Valley Forge (which is an amazing National Park). We had everything we needed for our stay and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed seeing sheep and chickens from our windows. Check in and check out was easy.

Very comfortable apartment
Located on beautiful property and is right behind the owner's incredibly beautiful home. Convenient to all of the historical places around Valley Forge.
The apartment is lovely and very comfortable. My only warning is that the living space is upstairs. From the photographs, we thought the living space was downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. The only reason I raise this is because my husband has balance issues and stairs are challenging. Still, we really appreciated this lovely apartment and our gracious hostess. The bed is superbly comfortable. The living space comfortable and kitchen nicely equipped. Add chickens on the property for fresh eggs and, just wow! We highly recommend this property.

Charming stay
Charming carriage house! Convenient to Valley Forge National Historic Park and more. Sarah is a gracious and generous host. Our dog was warmly welcomed and liked smelling their chickens. We also enjoyed some comic relief from Sarge, the beagle. Highly recommend!

Great place within driving distance to Philly
Being right at Valley Forge makes for convenient hiking and historical tours. Less than an hour's drive into the city. The carriage house is lovely and spacious.

Lovely quiet escape
What a fabulous stay!
Sarah is a gracious host, we couldn't help but to have a wonderful time.
The cottage is adorable. Sarah left us a lovely welcome gift to enjoy and has taken care in making the space comfy and relaxing. We immediately felt right at home.
It was so nice to wake up and stroll around the gorgeous, well manicured property. My dog had so much fun romping around. With plenty of room for him to chase his ball and play with Sarah's dog, Sargeant, he was exhausted at the end of every day.
It really was a fabulous stay and I would recommend this property to everyone.

A Special Home at Valley Forge
We spent 4 nights at the Carriage House. It is perfect for two people. Very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is well organized and functional. We cooked breakfast each morning.
Parking was next to the entrance and I did not need to worry about the car
Communications with Sarah were easy.
Overall a good value and a great location for visits to Valley Forge National Park, Bucks County and downtown Philly

This was a perfect property for the 2 of us. Excellent location to Valley Forge. The cottage included everything you needed for our stay, complete with Sarge the super sweet and friendly dog. Great place for a weekend stay
We really enjoyed staying in Sarah’s carriage house. It was just as described and comfortable for two over a weekend. Sarah was very responsive and Sarge was so friendly and sweet. I highly recommend it.

Cozy and Convenient
This property suited our needs for a quick trip back to Pennsylvania. The carriage house is very clean, well stocked and welcoming. The host, Sarah, is friendly, helpful and accommodated a special request, which was much appreciated. The location is great for access to King or Prussia, the Main Line and Chester county.

Charming carriage house near Valley Forge
My husband, puppy and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place. She was very responsive to all questions and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Conveniently located near Valley Forge and Phoenixville, the Carriage House was perfect for us and gave us great space and a very comfortable bed and bedroom. You are also surrounded by beautiful space with chickens and sheep. Highly recommend and hope to come back!
