I wish I could give five stars, because the house was spacious, clean, and well-furnished But....the evening of the second day of a three-night stay, as I was sitting on the bed, it simply broke. The slats came off the frame. It was too late to get a repairman that night, so my husband and I managed on the couch (not a fold-out). The next day, the property owner got a repairman in, and while he was there, he also fixed a burned-out lightbulb. I can't give a five-star review when we spent one night on the couch.
Communication wasn't five-star either. Messaging via the VRBO site wasn't reliable, because the property manager doesn't forward messages to the owner. Even communicating over text wasn't perfect: we'd asked for warning before the repairman showed up but didn't get it. The icing on the cake: I asked about a rebate for the night we spent on the couch, and the property manager ignored the issue about the bed, only saying that a burned-out lightbulb doesn't qualify.
