Situado en el corazón del desierto de Sonora, con más de 160 kilómetros de rutas de senderismo, equitación y ATV desde la propiedad, este es un lugar perfecto para su espíritu al aire libre para aprovechar todo lo que está disponible. Aunque está escondido, hay muchas actividades y tiendas disponibles en las cercanías de Cave Creek y Scottsdale. La propiedad tiene fácil acceso a la I17, la 303 y la 101, a la vez que ofrece privacidad y soledad en esta ubicación escondida del desierto de Sonora.

Great property!

What a great property with a very well stocked kitchen! DJ as thought of everything down to the smallest detail including a fresh bouquet of flowers in the kitchen! The only thing I would mention is that it is a little further out than we anticipated but that was just based on the areas we wanted to explore. That said, we would definitely recommend this property and we would stay there again.

Great stay

My husband and I stay for about 3 weeks. The rental is tucked back at the end of the driveway and It was very quiet. The rental was spotless!! DJ was very gracious when we misunderstood the check in time. We enjoyed our stay immensely. DJ is such a a sweet lady. Don't hesitate to book your stay here.

This property was beautiful and DJ was very welcoming. The only note would be that the access to the bathroom is through the master bedroom. We came with friends and it was a bit awkward at first but we made it work. At any rate, I would stay here again! Thank you DJ!

One of the best properties near Cave Creek!

We have done a good few handful of VRBO stays, and DJs property is one of our top picks! The teenagers enjoyed the pool table and darts, we were only 10-15min from anything we wanted to do/see. DJ is a great hostess!! Would highly recommend this property!! Thank you again DJ!

Love, love, love this place.

Everything about this property was perfect. My friend and I loved the house. Our horses stayed in safe spacious covered runs. My German Shepherd guarded the house against a herd of wild rabbits. The wild life was amazing. The best part was our land lord and all of the neighbors. We honestly did not want to leave so we booked another month for next year.

Three week get away

Perfect for taking walks ,great neighbors and pet friendly. Our plans changed and we needed an extra night, DJ , the house manager made it happen! Beautiful house and game room! We have family in the area and will definitely stay there again.

Perfect extended stay

We cannot thank DJ enough for opening her guest house to us and our pets for six weeks while we were in transition between our home sale and home purchase. DJ went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The game room definitely added a fun factor and we really enjoyed playing pool and teaching our daughter how to play poker on a real poker table with real poker chips! The bathroom and kitchen provided everything we needed and there was tons of closet space for all of our stuff. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the mornings watching the wildlife. Our favorite part of our stay was getting to know DJ - she is a lovely person and it has been our privilege to make her acquaintance.

This home was the best, beautiful, clean and comfortable. Peace and quiet, from the typical city noise. Accessibility from the main interstate in several directions is convenient and worth the few extra miles. We travel often and appreciate the owners who are so gracious to share and open their home . Rustic Sonoran Desert

The location was perfect for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was able to enjoy your property already last year and happy to be able to stay again this year. The only negative I can see is that the only bathroom is through the master bedroom. Not such a problem when it is family, but may be if mixed company. Didn't interfere with our enjoyment.

Not Comfortable

Kitchen, dining area, bathroom, outdoor grille good. Bedrooms have poor nightstands, no lamps and window treatments that don’t block all light - beds good and rooms quiet. The only living room furniture is one sacked out sofa with a hole in it, no end tables, no lamps. TV is horrendous and practically unusable. No satellite/cable as advertised. Internet TV with only 3 app subscriptions. Internet inadequate for streaming - constant need to reboot, constant buffering and audio/video out of sync. No OTA antenna so no local channels. Tripping hazards - walking from room to room and living room rug. Neighbors have barking dogs, play music loud enough to hear, and have bright party lights that shine in the side yard and house. Many items in need of repair - doors, door openings, dishwasher.

Winter Escape from Michigan

A beautiful setting in the desert. Seclusion from the city life. Horses and mules to visit along your morning walks. Coyotes to lull you to sleep. A charming and accommodating host to fulfill your needs.

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful and was everything that was advertised. Very clean and nicely decorated. We really liked the game room and pool table. and the owner, DJ, was very accommodating. I do not recommend that you bring any small-medium sized pets as there are numerous coyotes in the area, some in roving bands, who appear to have no fear of humans. My little dog (my best friend weighed 18 lbs) was taken away by a big hybrid coyote while he was standing by the driveway. We spoke with other residents who had also lost pets this way. Owner did warn that coyotes could be a problem but having grown up in N Phx in the 70s, we never had any problems with them. During our search, we noted that some brain-dead residents in the area leave water pans and food out for coyotes, perhaps not realizing that this only brings them in closer and makes them have no fear of humans. Maricopa County needs to start paying a reward for coyote corpses and start leveeing fines on the morons who encourage what happened to our wonderful dog. There are far too many coyotes in the area and it's only a matter of time before something even worse happens. We really miss our Maverik.

Awesome secluded property

This property is very secluded which is awesome if you want to get away from the noise and hassle of the city. We really enjoyed everything that was there, the pool table, the dining room, the large kitchen. We couldn't figure the TV out but that's because we're technologically challenged. We loved the coffee grinder that makes perfect coffee! Property has awesome washer/dryer. DJ was awesome and let us do our thing!

Great place with tons of room and amenities. The host was super responsive and friendly.

The host was very responsive and gave us specific directions to the house. The place was clean, and had tons of space. It even included a game room with a pool table, dart board, and card table. In addition, it had a washer and dryer so we were able to return home with freshly clean clothes. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We were beyond satisfied with our stay!

Nice quiet secure place.

My son and I staid here while he competed in an event at the Ben Avery Shooting Center just a few miles away. Very nice clean place. Very quiet. Enjoyed listening to the coyotes at night. My son liked having the pool table and dart board in the game room. A good place to decompress from his competition. The place is hidden at the end of a small private road. No traffic at all and very secure if you have gear on a trailer. We will be back!

Rustic Sonoran Dessert

The property was very nice, much better than I could have imagined. It worked perfectly for our needs. The essentials available for us were certainly appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the whole house was very clean. The patio was also very nice, however we weren't able to use it too much being the weather was on the cool side.

Very comfortable - relaxing stay!

Property was just as listed. Great location for exploring northern Phoenix, walking trail nearby and close to Lake Pleasant and Castle Rock area. DJ was helpful and we felt very welcome!

Nice casita in rural area
