When something appears too good to be true, it probably will disappoint. That’s how I’d describe this rental. Despite paying an extra 1,140 to have the pool heated for our five night stay, the water temperature never reached 80 degrees, even though two repairmen checked it out. The pickle ball court is small, sits next to a concrete fence and surrounded by rocks, so be careful! The pool table is unusable since it’s located in the corner of the kitchen, miniature ping pong table might be fun for little kids, and bocce is on a slant. I paid extra for games but really only used a few bean bags for corn hole. The hot tub was nice. The outdoor tv and sitting area was a great gathering area. Two bedrooms are not safe; one has no window and the other is in a garage. Why not move the pool table to the garage so it could be used? We enjoyed the living room. Lots of coffee cups and plates, but the few pots, pans and knives are old. We even had to buy measuring cups (which we left). I used to own and manage a multimillion dollar Vrbo on Oahu so I know it’s not always going to be perfect, however I always had cleaning and basic supplies available so renters didn’t have to run to the store for every little thing. However, my sisters and I enjoyed the large home and made the best of it. We enjoyed two nearby parks, one you can walk to and another where we played pickle ball on a regulation court. I’m including some pictures so you know it’s a fun home, just a bit funky in places. Ann

House was perfection! We had everything we needed for a weekend of relaxing and ultimate pool time. The pool is MASSIVE and the whole family enjoyed it! Robin, the host, was more than responsive and we will definitely book with them again! Thank you Robin!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! There were plenty of things for us to do together, from swimming in the pool, playing ping pong or basketball, or having a family pickleball tournament. We also enjoyed snuggling on the comfy couches watching movies together. There was also plenty of space for being apart when needed, lol. The fact that it was pet friendly too was the icing on the cake!

Disappointing Experience at a Multi-Million Dollar Property

Our family always takes a trip to Phoenix for Thanksgiving to escape the cold, and this year we stayed at a Vrbo property marketed as a multi-million dollar estate . Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the expectations set by the listing. We paid extra to have the pool and jacuzzi heated during our stay, as advertised. However, the jacuzzi was only usable for one of the four days we were there. While the owner did address the issue when I reached out, he did not offer to make it right for the days we couldn't use it, which was disappointing. While we enjoyed the outdoor pickleball and basketball courts during our stay, the lack of lighting made it impossible to use them after the sun went down (around 6:00 PM). This limitation affected our ability to fully enjoy these amenities in the evenings. Additionally, we had a visit from pest control during our stay to remove a rat from the garage bedroom. While I understand that issues can arise in any home, having pest control come during our vacation was unexpected and unsettling. It detracted from our enjoyment of the property and made it difficult to relax. Overall, while the property had the potential to be a luxurious getaway for our family, the unresolved jacuzzi issue, inadequate lighting for outdoor activities, and the pest problem overshadowed any positive attributes. I urge the owners to address these concerns and improve their customer service to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Overall good stay, minor inconveniences

Nice property! Only grievances were that the trees next to the pickleball and basketball courts had not been pruned in a while so that branches were hanging over the courts, making it tough to play. Also, the basketball court is much much smaller than it appears in photos, so heads up beforehand that the lines painted on are a much smaller dimension would have been appreciated. We figured we’d be able to play 3 on 3, while even 2 on 2 was barely possible and cramped. Additionally, the fan in the man bathroom didn’t work. Beyond that, it was a good stay and our needs were met.

Friends weekend

Had a great three nights at this space, the outdoor area was the highlight and there were ample sleeping arrangements for a large group. There were just a few things missing like toilet paper and hand soap in some bathrooms but the host is extremely responsive and I’m sure would have brought some to the house, it was just easier for us to pick it up ourselves.

Perfect gathering!

Perfect house and excellent location for a large gathering. 6 adults and 2 teens occupied the house, as well as hosting a 40 person luncheon of family and friends (March 2024). The kids ranged in age from 16 months to 18 years old, adults from 20-80 years old- everyone was easily entertained by all the different activity options this house offers!! The neighborhood is quiet, felt safe and in excellent proximity to shopping and restaurants. Check in/out was super simple, we had absolutely nothing to worry about except spending quality time with everyone. We would highly recommend this property for another gathering!

So much fun!

We stayed at this house for a family thanksgiving gathering. The house was perfect. Walk in showers for the grandparents, plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking our meals and so much fun the backyard for all generations. The hosts were very responsive and check in/out was a breeze!

Great place for family fun!

Our family of 4 generations ranging from 2 yrs old to 85 yrs old stayed here in October 2023 and had a fantastic time! The backyard is full of fun and active entertainment options for our very energetic family - pickleball, ping pong, basketball, bocce ball, corn hole and of course the pool! The covered area with a huge table and generous seating allowed us to spend so much time outside we almost never left. Another highlight was the huge dining room table - all of us were able to eat together as well as sit around it to play games after dinner. It's not high luxury but it is clean and functional and offers so much to do - we hardly ever left and just enjoyed having fun in the pool and the yard the whole time. We would definitely come back!

Awesome place!

The backyard has everything you could dream of. We didn't really hangout inside to much just enjoyed the great backyard and good AZ weather. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to do the same! The house was able to accommodate our group comfortably.

As advertised

The highlights are the outdoor activities of pickleball, pool, jacuzzi, basketball court, boche ball, putting green, fire pit, and pergola seating area. Outdoor dining table was perfect for our large group. In house wifi and TV were fine. Only had issues with grill burners, lack of bar soap, and how to control in house thermostats (nothing major). Grill could use some updating. 2nd fridge in garage a big plus if a large group wants to rent. Site is centrally located and close to grocery/restaurants. Would be better value rental during “off-season” months. Not sure of rental’s value during “peak season” when compared to other properties in the area.

Fun house for family meetup

We had 6 adults and 6 young children. It was nice having the outdoor activities take care of the kids while the parents could relax. Some things need some attention and the kitchen lacked some basic supplies and cooking tools (i.e. baking sheets), but we made do and had a wonderful time. I'd recommend the house to large family groups.
