The host was ok and reasonably responsive, but for the price we paid, honestly, the property was rundown and our experience wasn’t commensurate with the money we paid. Stairs had wobbly planks and dangerous for my kids. Foyer piece of flooring was taped down and not stable. No welcome book with codes to turn on the heat in the house when we arrived. Code to get into backyard casita wasn’t available on first night. Pool and hot tub weren’t really usable. Trash can location was a mystery but I eventually figured it out. The trash cans were located in the alley behind the backyard. No ice maker or it was broken. Not sure what. No remote control for the TV in the family room next to the kitchen so we were unable to watch any TV. Big gap at the bottom of the back door and the floor meaning scorpions, snakes and bugs easily could come into the house. On the plus side, the bathrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The maintenance guy that came by to look at the flooring and the stairs was nice and he said they would fix it. Again, for the price we paid I was expecting more. This was really the equivalent of a two star or three star hotel.
