Excellent value, cleanliness and hospitality!

Was really happy with this family run guest house that i stayed in for my last night in Phu Quoc before flying out. Incredibly helpful family members, room was impeccably clean (although towels and sheets although perfectly laundered, both had few wear-n-tear stains). Bathroom was spotless (which made me so happy), and hot water and shower worked perfectly. WiFi worked very well also so managed to get a lot of work done. Location is excellent, 5 min walk to main road with shops , grocery, cafes. The beach is about 10 mins walk. Everything is nearby. Had several really nice meals at the guesthouse cafe which was also very good value. I noticed many tourists from other hotels on the row coming over to eat daily. If you are out all day and need a simple well run clean safe place to stay, this is it. For the price, i was incredibly happy and surprised, it's great value. They helped arrange my taxi when i left. Appreciate the great service. Thanks to the owners for excellent stay!

Can be stayed this hotel once visit Phu Quoc

Generally this hotel is good enough for the price paid, only little not so well is that they don't have twin beds, they only have two double beds room of family room for nearly double price....Room is clean and service is good

lovely modern guest house.

Stayed in Gia Thanh for 2 nights. The room and bathroom were both spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the air con was silent which made for a couple of nights pleasant sleeping. It is on one of the roads off the msin street with bars and restaurants so very handy for going out. The breakfast was really good with a large and varied menu of local and western options and cooked to order.

Very nice staff but beds hard like wood

It's a shame as the staff is super nice, breakfast and bar is great, but the beds are the least comfortable we had, so hard it felt like we were sleeping on wood! On top, doors are not sound-proof and everybody slams them (just wood against wood with no silencers), we heard baby crying as if they were next to us. We couldn't get good sleep and felt tired for the whole 5 days. Therefore, I cannot recommend. Also, it says room cleaning is done everyday but we had cleaning only 3 days out of 5. Finally, nowhere was a sign that water provided was not free, even though it was cheap it is not good practice to suddenly charge for it at checkout.

Es ist ein recht neues Hotel im Zentrum von Phu Quoc. Der Weg zum Strand beträgt ca. 10 Min. und fast direkt auf der Höhe befinden sich ein Paar Palmen unter denen man kostenlos liegen kann. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt (+frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche). Das Hotelteam ist sehr nett und liebenswert. Sie haben für uns einiges organisiert und haben sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert. Neben dem Hotel ist das Acerola Restaurant was sehr günstig ist und wirklich gutes Essen und Getränke zu bieten hat. Das einzig doofe ist der Weg zum Hotel - dort sind einige Baustellen und die Straße ist voller Schlaglöcher und Pfützen und es gibt keinen Fußgängerweg, da muss man etwas aufpassen.. Ist aber nicht so wild.

This is a great little budget hotel.... the family who run it are gorgeous, nice to see the children running around too. We had most of our meals at the Acerola restaurant and they were some of the best we have had in Vietnam. Try not to get ground floor as there are no windows.

Clean, Beautiful and Well-priced Guesthouse

Our stay at Gia Thanh was amazing. It is a family run guesthouse and each member was lovely and incredibly helpful. THey made us feel right at home, and we loved getting to know them better. The guesthouse is paved with marble which was beautiful. The room was brightly lit and spacious with great amenities

Super clean hotel for a super cheap price.

I enjoyed my stay enormously. The rooms where spotless and the staff very friendly but only one person spoke English. In walking distance of the beach and various places to eat. In walking distance of the night market for more food stalls.

Great Stay

What a beautiful stay! With the low price we were not expecting the hotel to be that nice! The whole family was so lovely, and very helpful with us. The cheapest rooms were big, clean and full of light. It is also located in a calm neighbourhood but close to the beach (5min by walk) I would certainly recommend it to thoses who needs calm and a natural environment!
