Great value, great vacinity.

Hotel is priced well, close to all amenities, which is it’s beauty. Rooms clean and serviced daily. Friendly staff. The hotel we’re refurbishing some rooms which was pretty noisey at times.

There is a lot of construction in the area, so it is noisy. The hotel is dirty, housekeeping is poor. From what we could see there was no second pool, the big pool has a roof which covers more than half of it, which they perhaps class as indoor and outdoor. The small, isolated part of the pool where the stools are was completely unattended, dirty with dead bugs and cigarette butt inside. Reception is not staffed 24/7, the receptionist leaves at 5pm and if you are lucky you can get hold of the security guard after that.

Room was in average condition, and very warm. AC units struggled to keep it cool and it was only spring.Apartment needs to be updated as it looks aged. Beds were comfortable. Sitting room furniture is very outdated and so is the large window in the master bedroom that looks into the bathroom. Location is good with food and shopping within a 10-15 minute walk.

Great for the price

Location was great, room was the nicest i’ve stayed in any country or state. For the price you get a huge kitchen, living room, bathroom with a huge tub, 2 outside decks and a hot tub outside. gym is open and a nice pool to swim in. the beach is down the street and a bunch of food is near the area

A reasonably priced accommodation. Very old interior and rooms. But has all the basic facilities you would need. NO iron or ironing board available. Reception refused to supply. Breakfast was okay. You can rent a motorbike for one week at 270 baht per day. Very nice sized pool, but not open until 08:30hrs. Boat Ave and nearby Villa Market easily walkable. No restaurant or bar. They do have good long-term rates for one month or more.

This is a bare and basic hotel. Nothing nice or luxurious about. We were so disappointed we lost all of our money and went to another nearby hotel. The photos are much nicer than I’m person.

The Regent - Excellent Accommodation

I have now stayed at this hotel on several occasions. It is in a great location, very stylish with chilled atmosphere. It is walking distance to restaurants and shopping centre. A short scooter ride to the beach. Very clean and well run establishment. Lovely staff and all amenities supplied. Large rooms, well set out with very comfortable beds. Rates very reasonable too. I will be stay again for sure.

Facilities were good, hotel was safe and secure. The rooms can do with better lighting and air-conditioning control. Other than that, overall a pleasant experience.

The Regent

This was our first stay in the Bang Tau area and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel is located in the heart of the area, close to the main attractions and the restaurants of the area.

Персонал приветливый, завтраки нормальные одно и то же но вкусно (овощи, ветчина, сосиски, яйца, тосты, кофе) мебель чуть уставшая, но уютно и все работает. В отеле чисто, уборка хорошая. Жили с выходом в бассейн, тишина, водичка чистая и хорошая, температура идеальная, не горячая не холодная.Вай фай нормальный и в номере и по территории. Кстати тренажерный зал вообще можно сказать его нет, там такая духота что позаниматься просто нереально. До моря пешком было бы далеко, но мы на байке, поэтому 2 минуты с ветерком - супер) Третий раз на Банг Тао, все ухоженное, чистота, пляж конечно идеальный, людей мало, но эти медузы и живность в море все портит, купаешься и тебя все время жалят при чем все три раза, видимо вода здесь застаивается и живности много. Скорее всего сюда больше не поедем.

Keine 4 Sterne - 1 Stern ist zu viel - Der Raum ist total schmutzig und am Spiegel befindet sich Schimmel. - Die Türen zu den Zimmern fallen ins Schloss, als würde es ein Erdbeben geben, was zu Folge hat, dass man - bei Gästen die um 6 aufstehen - direkt mit aufwachen wird. Das gilt für den GESAMTEN Gang! - Das Personal ist unfreundlich und unfähig mit Beschwerden umzugehen. - Das Frühstück ist - naja Reis mit Gemüse - dürftig bestückt. - Die Lage ist alles andere als gut, weit entfernt vom Strand oder von Restaurants und im Hotel gibt es auch keine Küche am Abend. - Das Thema mit der Klimaanlage: Entweder gab es arktische Temperaturen mit eisigen Winden oder ohne Klima eine schweißtreibende Sauna. - Zu guter Letzt darf man sich dann noch über andere Gäste im Zimmer freuen, also riesige Küchenschaben. (4 Stück gesichtet, die dann unter dem Bett übernachteten) Ganz großes NEIN zu diesem Hotel!!!! PS: das Bett war groß...

spacious room and close to shops

we enjoyed our 5 nights of stay. walking distance to shops and restaurants. if you want to go to the beach is a bit far we pay 200 in the taxi just to get to the beach. the staff are nice and anyone can go straight to the elevator without noticing the reception. the bed is the hardest bed we slept. the main door of our room is hard to lock. i cannot lock myself even if were inside or outside. but we love the location most.

Nice place to stay, room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly and accommodating and the facilities well maintained. The included breakfast was great. After reading some of the reviews I was apprehensive but my experience was very pleasant and great value. People who complain about this type of accommodation should stay at home

Don`t expect much.

I booked for three weeks, prepaid. Was arriving a few days late and left them a message that I was going to be late. When I arrived in the morning they told me I had to wait until 2.30 before check in. ( Even if I had paid for the three previous nights ) It could have been a good experience, but the hotel management has decided on being a group hotel for come -and -go tourist buses and not a quality hotel with good service. The staff is friendly but very incompetent with trivial, basic concerns. Only one elevator so the cleaners have their stuff in there often. They do not care about the dont disturb/ make up my room. I am not sure if they even know what it means. They would clean the room at their own convenience every day day. So if I was out for 8 hours with the make up my room sign on the door, it would still not be done when I came back. I would put up the dont disturb sign and they would unlock and jump in. If I was in, they simply put a few towels utside the door. At the pool there are maybe 10 sun beds, but only 5 cushions. The hotel is very dirty when you start looking. The bathtub on the terrace does not have warm water. Its for show. Aircon started leaking. I told them to please fix it while I was out in errands. On my return the maintenance guy would start working. No wifi in the room. And they did not care. Location is good for restaurants, but far from the beach. The Regent have the possibility to become a good hotel if the owners wants to.

중국인 단체관광객이 많기는 하였으나, 크게 문제되지 않았습니다. 피트니스 등 호텔 내 여러 시설들이 닫혀 있었고, 해변과 마트에 갈려고 하면 걸어서 이동을 해야 합니다. 처음 예약한 객실이 아닌 다운그레이드 된 객실을 배정해 주셔서 바꾸는데 시간을 소비하였습니다.

Bodde här 5 nätter. Ankommit vid 12:00 am men fick inte checka in den tiden först. Men efter vi frågade om det finns något alternativ att checka in tidigare fått vi positiv svar, fått betala 500 bat (i kontant utan att få kvitto på den betalning) och fått nyckel till rum 410. Rummet var något sliten: det var håll i golvet i garderoben och saknades både stång och gallrar. Det var väldigt svagt belysning både i rummet och i badrummet, använde lykta att hitta i garderoben. Fått problem med översvämningar från duschen då deras rör klarade inte mer än 2 min duschande. Personalen var trevlig och försökte sitt bästa att hjälpa till och lösa problem: fixade gallrar (fast inte stång, så det var väldigt obekväm att hänga kläder högt på översta hylla), fixade hål i garderoben, hjälpte oss med att hyra moppe (400 bat/dag) - något som stark rekommenderas då läge på hotell är inte optimalt: långt till strand och stan område. Frukosten var billigt men även fattig. Vi hittade bra ställe relativt nära som serverade bra frukost/brunch: The Little Paris. Det visade sig att där ligger område med flera bra restauranger. Det fanns matsal för restaurang som användes aldrig. Wifi koppling var ok. Poolområde var fint men med få solstolar, dem var dock lediga när vi var där. Parkering var utomhus vilken är inte optimal vid kraftig regn (om man kör bil). Väldigt mycket plast växter, I helheten lämnade hotell synd känsla att det används bara liten del av sin potential.
