“I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep. The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. The room was on the small side as it was the attic of the Wilson BUT I was there to sleep after long work days. “Amazing stay..staff lovely and good breakfast.. the location was central to everywhere and views were fantastic. The pub gets very busy showing its popularity. The room was great very spacious with everything one needs. The bed was a little weird and felt uneven but didn't stop us sleeping after busy days exploring the area. If theres any criticism its having no plugs near the bed to plug phones or fan in but i would definitely stay here if visiting the area again..thank you to the staff for...

“We had a lovely stay, the staff were friendly and would do anything they could to make or stay enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were very good, great choice for breakfasts, lunch and evening meals. Our room was very clean, housekeeping provided every day. The only problem we had was with the stairs , two flights up and one down to our room, both elderly with mobility issues. “Fantastic overnight stay at Blacksmiths Arms Inn. Large car park , lovely bar and dining area and superb staff. Was made to feel at home from the minute we arrived until we checked out. Room was of good quality and the food at dinner and breakfast was great. All staff were chatty as were the locals in the bar area. Definitely will stay again if in the area in future. ”
