Adorable house in the Black Hills perfect for a weekend getaway!

  • Welcome to the stunning Black Hills in the most hospitable community in the area, Piedmont, SD. We hope this is the beginning of a great adventure and/or vacation for you. Come and enjoy our newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath quaint cottage with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, a relaxing front porch swing and a back deck to enjoy coffee or meals. We offer an over sized one car garage to park your car or toys :) . The front and back yards are fully fenced. Our little cozy cottage is located just off of I-90 between Rapid City and Sturgis, SD. The beautiful Piedmont park is just across the street and is great for kids and adults alike. We are within walking distance to the local bars and restaurants. ATV trails and the beautiful Black Hills National Forest are just up the hill. We DO have Wifi, local TV and a DVD player. Linens and towels are provided along with a washer and dryer. Children are welcome. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns and we hope you enjoy your stay!

A gem of a property!

More spacious than anticipated, nice big kitchen and a great little neighborhood! A great price for a family. Would stay there again.

Shabby Chic Cottage

Owners were great to work with. Peaceful neighborhood and kid friendly with the great park across the street. Would definately stay again!

Perfection

The house was perfectly located for what we were wanting to see. The house had everything we needed, was stocked with all of the essentials . All we had to do was go down the road to a close by grocery. The owners thought of everything! They were very approachable for any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area!!!

Wonderful cottage

The Shabby chic cottage was perfect for our South Dakota stay. It’s in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and the location gave us easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. There was two couples and the cottage was just right for us. Sabrena was a fantastic host, she thought of everything to make us feel right at home, we were lacking for nothing. Communication was excellent! We enjoyed our visit so much we decided to stay an extra day and Sabrena made that process a breeze. We loved the evening and early morning visit from the deer and it was a nice walk to Slash J for an excellent dinner. We will definitely recommend this cozy cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting the area! Thanks for the hospitality!

Wonderful and Awesome Experience

Our hosts were so kind and considerate of our every need. They would check on us during our stay to see what we needed. The place was clean and was so cute how they remodeled it. It was very comfortable house to stay in. We had a medical emergency and had to leave a day early. They were very concerned about our friend who had the emergency and they offered to refund our last day. We were not expecting this at all. This was so sweet their 11 year old son gave us some vegetables from his garden. We wanted to bless him with a little donation. Hedid not expect this butthe family was so thankful. The hosts were such amazing kind and caring people. I highly recommend this place..

Cozy little place

Was very cozy and we enjoyed seeing the deer in the park across the street at night. Didn’t stay too much as we had plans to do a lot of activities. Coffee was great to have on the deck in the morning before the grandkids woke up. Was a little late getting out of there since kids wanted to drag their feet. I would definitely stay again even if just going as a couple

Perfect location

We stayed for Sturgis and it was the perfect location; central to everything we wanted to see and do. Randomly ran into the owner, and he was very gracious and helpful with recommendations. Great little bar within walking distance. House was very clean. A+ renters and property.

Very nice, clean and quiet spot to rest in between rides while visiting the Black Hills during the Sturgis Rally. Will definitely rent again if available when I come back down to the Black Hills.

Home away from home in the center of the Black Hills

My brother and I stayed here on the last leg of Dakotas/Montana hiking trip. We chose the location because it was in between Crow Peak in the north Black Hills and Black Elk Peak in the south. The location was perfect! And for the cottage, you can tell the hosts really have put a lot of effort into updating this home while keeping some of its original classic charm. Even more, the hosts also put a lot of effort into making their guests feel at home. The kitchen is updated, spacious and well-stocked. The bathroom is also well- stocked. I never felt like we had to run to the store to pick up essentials, as I’ve had that experience with other rentals. The Keurig was a nice touch. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the cottage. The bedrooms were nice sized and had comfortable queen beds - perfect after a long day on the trails. We utilized the washer and dryer which was really nice to have on a two week trip. We also used the outdoor space in back. We used the gas grill to cook steaks one night for dinner. The house truly was used as a home away from home. The hosts have done a wonderful of providing a clean and comfortable home in a great location in the Black Hills. I’d stay here again.

Just what we needed!

We stayed here as part of a longer trip. It was such a nice break from hotels. We caught up on laundry, relaxed on the porch swing, the kids loved the park, and we took in local sites. We would highly recommend this home! We wished we would have booked a longer stay!

Cute Bungalow in Small Town

My husband, 2-year-old son, mom, and myself were in Piedmont for a wedding. Having a toddler, hotels are not always the easiest way to go. This house was PERFECT for what we needed! My mom was able to have her own bedroom, my husband & I had the 2nd bedroom, and we were able to set up the Pack n' play in the laundry room area for my toddler! Also, the location was perfect for our little boy - he totally loved the park AND library that were both directly across the street! There's not a whole lot to do in the town of Piedmont itself but we had all we needed for our little family to stay occupied, entertained, and well-fed while at this cute little bungalow =)

Shabby, chic cottage was wonderful

The shabby, chic cottage was wonderful. Centrally located to all our destinations. Clean, very well stocked, comfortable beds. Owners were very easy to contact and quick to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Cute little house!

Cute little house for a great price! It is an older home with a lot of character that was very clean. There were plenty of towels, extra bedding and blankets. They also provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The property manager was great with communication and directions. The location was great being 15 minutes from Sturgis and Rapid City. I highly recommend staying here.

Family vacation

This property was more than excellent for my wife and two preteens. Centrally located for seeing all of the sights in the rapid city area. Home is in a very quiet little town but minutes away from all the action of the bigger cities and monuments. Couldn't have picked a better home away from home.

Cute Home in Perfect Location

What a lovely home. It was clean, comfortable and the perfect size for our family. We loved the proximity to all the Rapid Coty had to offer. The yard was wonderful for evening dinner and the front porch swing was a nice place to have a morning cup of coffee. The park across the street was perfect for the kids. Wonderful home that we would recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay near Rapid City

This house is a great place to stay near Rapid City. The host was very helpful with finessing a place for us to park with our trailer. We would stay here again.
