“This is a lovely spot in the hills above Barva. Very convenient if you are visiting the university in Heredia. And the coffee is delicious!”

“Small 2 bedroom, 2 bath on side of hill with nice view of San Jose, particularly at night.. small deck with large Jacuzzi. Washer/dryer and dish washer make for more convenient longer stays. Some traffic noise at rush hour, but otherwise a tranquil environment with lots of birds.Probably more adult appropriate than children.”

“Location was good. We felt safe and it was easy to find. Beds/bedding was in good shape. The layout of the house was a bit "odd" but no problems or issues. We had some insects in the house (mostly ants). I assume that's jungle living and it wasn't an issue. ”

“While I gave this place 5 stars, note that this is a well maintained home - not a 400 / night resort. So based on expected accommodations, it was great in all respects - perhaps the most important aspect is about Eduardo and the fantastic service he provided. For a reasonable fee he picked us up at the airport & brought us to the home, helped with luggage, & gave all sorts of advice & assistance - w/o being intrusive in the slightest. He even took us to the food markets to get food for our stay...

“Nice room with lots of storage around the bed. Complete kitchenette and laundry room with cute washer. Bathroom is decent. Close to everything as advertised. A bit noisy some nights but otherwise great little place. Not for the picky traveler. Definitely comfortable little apartment.”
