We had a wonderful three-night stay at this cozy cabin in Hillman. It was the perfect distance from the Cities—close enough for an easy drive, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. The cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed. We spent our time relaxing, grilling, and even caught a couple of fish right off the dock. One evening by the fire was a highlight.We also ventured into Brainerd one afternoon for a delicious lunch at Chick N Rice (highly recommend!) and had a great time playing mini golf. Overall, this was such a relaxing and fun trip, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Relaxing

We enjoyed 4 nights in this quaint little cabin. It was perfect for our family of 5. The cabin was well stocked with everything you would need, especially the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were easy to contact if needed. We loved having the boat to use for a couple days. It fit our family of 5 just right. We enjoyed fishing, tubing and skiing. The screened in porch was used a lot for meals or playing games to protect us from the MN bugs. We would highly recommend this cabin and location and would definitely make a return trip in the future.

Beautiful and relaxing

The cabin is perfect and beautifully done. Everything was updated and welcoming.The grounds were also well kept and inviting to spend time outdoors.Our hosts were committed to us having a very pleasant stay.We would definitely stay again!Lisa and Gregg

We had a very enjoyable 4-night stay — wish we had more time! The cabin was perfect — clean and comfortable. The soaps & shampoo were exceptional and the bed comfy. We brought our own boat & having a lake map available was a huge plus when fishing (& that’s what we like to do best when on a lake!). Would definitely stay there again in the future. Thank you Christy & Corey!!!

Nice get away

The place was well kept and cleaned. Very nice and cozy area to get away from the city. They were so nice to set out some s’mores treats for the family. A small gesture that was greatly appreciated. Love that you get a nice view of the lake out back. Love everything about the place.

Wonderful Oasis

We would need a novel to describe how amazing the experience was with this cabin. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and thought about every detail needed for a lake stay from the scenic fire pit to the coffee/tea nook. The location was perfect on the lake with solid dock fishing and was serene and quiet. We had plenty of space and every kitchen utensil needed to have meals. The decor was well thought out and made the place feel like home and cozy. The screen porch was also a great atmosphere for games and meals.

A cozy little gem!
