Great location and house.

Check in was simple, location of house was perfect just perfect. Overall great stay and would definitely stay at this house again.

Christmas in Pigeon Forge

The home was lovely and as described. The biggest issue we had was getting check in information. The host was great at communicating before check in day but when it came to check in information we could not get the code from the host and had to contact VRBO directly.

Cleanliness & Communication Were Lacking

The property itself was as advertised and had all the space we needed for a family of 4 (my husband and I plus my college-age daughter and HS-age son). The location was great and very close to everything in Pigeon Forge. However, our stay started off on the wrong foot as the host didn't communicate at all with check-in procedures. I looked at my Vrbo emails and realized Vrbo hadn't received the usual info ahead of time either. We had traveled several states away and I had to message and call to get the code to get in. We were starting to panic as it was Christmas Eve and it was less than an hour before check-in time and we had never received a single message from the host. Not ideal. As others have said, the house was dirty upon check-in. There was hair in the kitchen sink and bathtub, the bathtub drain was completely full of hair and the toilet was dirty. I also had to clean out the fridge as food had been spilled in it and not cleaned up. The vaccuum was left out and not emptied, etc. The host refunded our cleaning fee and said they're changing mgmt companies, but this was our experience recently. We also found the linens lacking compared to other places we've stayed. I would suggest bringing bath towels as the ones provided are very thin and not the best quality. We had a lovely time in Pigeon Forge and the proximity to town was great, but we wouldn't choose this particular property again.

Farmhouse

We arrived and went in and all looked good. When I went to use the bathroom things changed. The downstairs toilet was filthy! Ran upstairs and it looked just like the one downstairs. Contacted the owner and they called the cleaners. The lady I spoke with made a comment about “did they not leave cleaning supplies for you to use?” When I get excited about my family’s vacation I’d rather not have to clean Pee and poop off 2 toilets when I arrive. Maybe that’s just me but that’s where I draw the line. The cleaners arrived quickly and cleaned the toilets. We got refunded our housekeeper fee which was the least that could be done. The house looked as if the folks were not real housekeepers they’re paying to clean. Beds were made and all but floors weren’t really clean. The next day we were going to load the dishwasher. Opened the door and the whole thing tipped forward. It didn’t have any screws in the top bracket to hold it in. Didn’t bother contacting the owner because of the remarks about cleaning the toilets. The place is in a good area but we will not stay there again.

Perfect family house!

We loved our stay. The family room with all the games was a huge hit for our kiddos! The adults enjoyed the hot tub. The house was perfect for our little group and in a private setting! My only complaint is that the cleaning company didn't show up before we arrived and the house was a mess and the linens were dirty. The property owner attempted to get them to come while we ran to town but that didn't work so we were up late cleaning. The oven also doesn't heat properly and it took about an hour to cook frozen biscuits lol. We left all that in a note for the cleaning/maintenance crew so hopefully they get it fixed for the next group. Over-all it was an awesome vacation and the Adam was very apologetic about the cleaning issues. We would definitely stay here again

Convenient; perfect for family

We’ve stayed here two years in a row and will keep coming back. Highly recommend if you have kids. Pros: There are three bedrooms. The downstairs den is great for the kids. My boys basically hung out down there all week. There are games, a huge TV, and comfy furniture. On the middle level, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a large dining table (most rentals only have a small table), and a livingroom that is perfect for me to read while keeping and ear on the boys. The upstairs has the bedrooms and a full bath with lots of towels. Outside there is a nice deck with a table and chairs. We had all meals out there. There is also a hot tub. The home is surrounded by woods and is super-convenient across from the Titanic Museum. Plenty of parking. I will share some of the cons, even though none of these really matter to us. The pros outweigh the cons by far, but these may matter to some: The road leading to the home is curvy and steep. It’s an older home, and as such, some things are dated or wearing out, but the owner has done a great job of updating the decor (very cute!). The bathrooms are on the upper and lower floors. Again, no problem for us but it would be an issue if you have a problem with stairs. There are only about three stairs going down and maybe six going up. There is no TV in the livingroom on the middle floor. Again, no big deal for us. The boys watched TV downstairs and if I wanted to watch, I went to my bedroom. We absolutely love this place!

Location, location location was great. I think the cleaning crew failed to show up after previous guests checked out. We did let owner know about we we saw.

Beautiful house

We needed a home big enough to have family over for a post-Easter outing with a yard big enough for an egg hunt for the little ones and space to entertain the teens. This home checked all the boxes! The family room with all the games was fun for all! The location was perfect! Close to the parkway and easy access to all our favorite spots! The home was clean and the decor was quaint. We stayed for a week and honestly didn’t want to leave. We would definitely stay again!

Great Rental House

My family and our small dog had a great time at this house on our trip over spring break. The check in process was easy and we found the home in a nice clean condition. Along the way the owner, Adam, was very easy to work with and very accommodating. The home had comfortable living spaces and beds. There were many games of Pop A Shot while we were there and our kids loved that as well as the other games there. When it was time to do other things we were literally just a few minutes from the heart of Pigeon Forge and all the excitement. I would highly recommend and we will likely stay here again in the future!

Mountain getaway!

We travel with a special needs daughter, teen daughter and 4 Yorkies! To find a place that accommodates everyone is time consuming. This was my 1st time using verbo. I had to ask the host permission to bring all 4 dogs, house rules stated only 2. He was quick to respond and agreed. We booked and then a few days later I noticed trip was cancelled and PANICKED! I messaged host and he answered immediately. All was good. Fresh linen was delivered 1/2 way thru our stay. They had a washer & dryer so I just washed what we used! But the thought was very nice. My fur babies were happy, my teen was happy, my special needs daughter was happy, so we were happy. Thank you Adam for being a great host. We will be back to explore more in the mountains!!
