Great place to stay

Chris and his family were great people to deal with. If we experienced anything they were quick to respond and resolve the issue. The place was clean and fun for all. Would definitely rent from them again. Great location and close to lots of things to do. For example the magic show by terry evanswood.

Great For a Family Vacation

This cabin was perfect for our extended family of 11. The cabin was centrally located and easy to find. We were just minutes from Dollywood and other attractions. The listing was accurate. We had everything we needed. The host was great about responding to our text and assisting us with any needs we had. We loved sitting on the porch when we weren't out and about....Thanks for a great stay!

Great Property

The property was great for our group. Lots of entertaining features to take advantage of. Having all the starter toiletries and kitchen supplies was helpful. If you plan to use the pool, you’ll want to drive to it, there are two extremely steep hills to navigate that aren’t for the faint of heart. If you decide to walk it, wear tennis shoes! Also, the ice maker wasn’t working so you’ll need to grab some ice on your way in.

Full family vacation to the mountains

The cabin was perfect for what we needed to suit our family. All the adults had their own bed & bath for themselves and their kids. Bunk room was great for our 3 granddaughters. Location was convenient for getting to attractions. Would highly recommend this cabin and host to anyone planning a trip to Pigeon Forge, TN.

June Trip

The cabin was amazing and perfect for our stay with 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The location was central to where we needed to be, the cabin was extremely clean and the layout provided enough space for us to enjoy our time together. We would definitely return!

Bear Crossing offered everything you need for a great vacation!

From the time we booked to the time we left the communication with the property manager, Chris, was excellent. Chris pro actively reached out to us upon booking and then again a few days before our trip to ensure we had everything we needed. It was really nice to know what was provided in the house and the check-in details. Once we arrived we were immediately impressed with how clean the house was. We have stayed at a lot of properties and this was the cleanest property we have stayed. Definitely no pets and no smoking, which is huge for my family. The amenities were great. The kids loved billiards and foosball. We even played some family poker at the poker table in the basement and enjoyed a family movie night on the big screen. The foosball table did have a damaged row of men but I contacted Chris and he said he would work to have that fixed quickly. Based on his responsiveness, it may already be fixed. We were able to enjoy the Hot Tub, which was also very clean and nice. It is located off of the basement deck, which was very convenient and private. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and a great selection of pots, which we used to cook several meals. It has everything we wanted. The only minor negative was that checkout is at 10am. We just like sleeping in :) If you are looking for an awesome house with a great location in Pigeon Forge that is clean and has a great property manager, book Bear Crossing!

SUCCESSFUL FAMILY VACAY!

This property is EXACTLY AS REPRESENTED. This was our 1st VRBO stay and a seamless process due to our hosts, Chris & Morgan. They were VERY EASY TO WORK WITH and demonstrated exceptional/responsive communication throughout the entire process from pre-booking to departure, ensuring we were comfortable and had what we needed/expected during our stay. The hosts provided clear instructions: cabin rules, cabin operation manual, and checkout requirements. This cabin is in a nice neighborhood and very easy to get to, with only a few steep stretches easy to navigate in summer (not so sure about snowy/icy conditions?) Our family of 5 used the spacious top-floor master suite & two bottom-floor bedrooms, keeping the middle floor for common gathering space, but this cabin can "comfortably" accommodate 10+! All rooms were clean and beds comfortable! This property has easy access to the Parkway and all that Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg have to offer! During our stay, we visited Dollywood, Metcalf Bottoms, Pirates Voyage, and Gatlinburg shops & Aquarium. Since we traveled with a toddler, our day was restricted, otherwise we could have jammed in more activities -- there is so much to do and see here! Our only regret is not carving out more time to relax on the cabin's outdoor decks. We all had a great stay -- even our two and a half yo grandson did not want to leave "the big house in the woods"! Thank you to Chris & Morgan for a successful VRBO experience and for being such outstanding hosts!

So much fun!

The cabin is exactly as described. We had our grown children and 3 grandchildren with us and everyone had their own space and we did not hear “I’m bored” once. The only thing we did hear at the end of the trip was “ wish we had more time to just hang out at the cabin” -

Great time!

The property is just as the pictures. The host was very quick and great with communication. My teenagers absolutely loved the hot tub, pool table, foosball and video games. Extremely close to Dollywood. The host provided us with recommendations and we used them especially to pick places to eat. Crockett's Breakfast Camp in Gatlinburg was excellent as well as the pizza place they recommended. Overall, a great stay and we would highly recommend this vacation rental if you are coming to Dollywood. The host are very easy to work with.

Oasis in the Smokies that is close to EVERYTHING

If you are looking for a centrally located, close to the "Strip"....look no further. Our family recently stayed at this cabin and as a family of 5 with intermittent local family dropping by I can tell you that this 3 story home will easily accommodate up to 21 people without any feeling of crowding. Being 8 to 12 minutes away from everything is awesome as we did Dollywood, Splash Country, the Nascar Speedpark, Tanger Outlets, Gatlinburg, and the Lumberjack Feud. Another nice part of the location is that you can take Rena Street which runs parallel to to the Strip which will allow you to avoid all the traffic and get to the Publix or Kroger grocery stores in a very short period of time. The upstairs master suite and bath are HUGE and we enjoyed having our own private deck that overlooked the treetops and got to watch squirrel shows each morning as they jumped tree to tree. The kids enjoyed the lower level of the home as it had a huge 75+ inch TV with the theater chairs. We were able to log in to our own Disney + and Netflix profiles and they got to watch movies and eat popcorn in the evenings while the grownups enjoyed a glass of wine and the hot tub on the deck. A short walk...about .12 of a mile down the hill is the pool and clubhouse for the neighborhood. We walked down to the pool each night but I will warn anyone that there are two VERY steep hills to climb back up....you can easily drive or park at the pool though if you do not want to walk. The owners of this cabin are AMAZING and SUPER responsive. Simply (and very lengthily said)...we made so many memories here and will be coming back to stay!!

Amazing Stay and Great Place

We love this area for renting a cabin cause it is super close to the parkway. This house was fantastic and loved the setup and amenities. We traveled with four teenagers and they spent most of their time on the top floor playing pool, football and competing with the video game. The adults spent time just hanging around on the main level as well as the lower level with the hot tub. I had originally inquired about adding on an extra day but it wasn’t available at that time. A few days before our departure the owner reached out to me and offered the opportunity to extend an extra day as the next group changed their plans. We extended our trip another day and were very happy that we did. We would rent from them again in a heartbeat.

Great hiking vacation

I chose this property because I knew My 5 year old grandson, 32 yr old son and 51 year old husband would love the pool table, gaming table and hot tub. Not to mention the theater room!! I chose It because it was beautiful!! We had a great time and the owners were checking in periodically to make sure we were happy. They were great to work with!! Thanks for a great place to stay.

Beautiful cabin with something for everyone

The layout of this cabin is fantastic. We had multiple age groups and everyone had a blast. It’s so convenient to everything! A short drive can take u to hiking, golf, theaters and Dollywood. We will definitely book again for our next Pigeon Forge vacation.

Beautiful mountain cabin!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful mountain cabin. Plenty of room for our crew of 12. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely return.

Great property with lots to do

Everything was great. Lots to do with outdoor pool area and gaming area within home. Suggest outdoor pool be a little warmer. Some minor basic items you might expect were lacking so pack hangers so you can really not feel like you are living from a suitcase but this was easily corrected by trip to Walmart.
