We came here for a family reunion/celebrated 2 birthdays. We were very happy with the place. The thing that stood out the most was the amazing views of the mountains from all levels of the deck, mornings were especially beautiful. A few minor things could be fixed and the living room couch could use a deep clean, but overall we were happy. We had an issue with one of the dishwashers leaking and the staff was easily reached and they sent someone out to check on it the next day. We definitely recommend this place for a large group. Everyone was comfortable.

Overall a very nice property. However, kitchen needs a few items…both refrigerators are missing drawers, both can openers were broken, lack of serving platters and bowls as well as storage containers. Showers lacked any place for soap or shampoo and should provide more than one towel per person.Sound system for movie theater needs fixing..set on so loud couldn’t be adjusted so not able to use.

Beautiful place with beautiful views. Very spacious. This place has all the amenities. The only thing I could recommend is providing guests with a few more bath towels. One per person just isn’t enough even with a washer and dryer. Overall 10/10 experience.

Lots of space

This property was very spacious and was great for our large family.We had some very late nights talking and playing cards; however, the noise did not bother the toddlers who were sleeping upstairs.It was very hot during our stay and there was a problem with the air conditioner upstairs. We made a phone call and the problem was addressed.We did have a few minor items and/or suggestions that we felt needed to be addressed and submitted that list to AvantStay. We were assured that these issues would be investigated. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sugarland!

Cousin Reunion

I was very pleased with the condition and location of the property, especially because it was just as the photos depicted! Having 10 identical king bedrooms with bathrooms was perfect. The two other bedrooms with bathrooms had two queen bunkbeds. The beds were very comfortable and sheets and comforters were good quality. The large kitchen was more than adequate for the group. We had three temporarily handicapped people with scooters/walkers so the walk-in front door access was a must as well as three bedrooms on that first level. Additionally, the outdoor porch on that first level allowed the whole family to flow in and out. A couple people used the pool, even though we did not heat it. It was fine. Views are gorgeous! There were no homes blocking our views. There were just a couple negatives: The couches are in ok condition to look at but sitting is another issue! Even for average size person, getting out was a real challenge, almost impossible for the older! The kitchen was well-stocked. Lots of Corelle in good shape. Great hot water. We did have trouble with air conditioning in two of the upstairs bedrooms on the second day of our stay. I notified management and they were willing to come out but we declined the inconvenience. One couple transferred to an empty room and the other used a room air conditioner that was on the premises. Overall, the whole group was very pleased with our stay!

House is just as described. Views are STUNNING! You will never get tired of sitting on the porch, staring at the mountains for days. Sunsets were gorgeous. Steep driveway but level up top with lots of parking. One little hiccup and the owners were so quick to respond and fixed right away. It was nice to have the peace of mind that they were so on top of things, especially with 28 of us in the home! Each couple having their own king bed and bathroom was perfect, and then the kids all had queen bunks. Thank you for making our family reunion so great.

Wonderful House

We had 17 fifteen year old girls and 15 moms and we loved every minute of our stay! The layout was great for this group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The views are incredible and the outdoor space was perfect. Any questions were quickly answered by the host and we had one small maintenance issue that was quickly and fully addressed as well. Overall, this is a fantastic house for large groups!!

Amazing home for large Group

Sugarland is beautiful. We had a total of 23 people in the home for just under a week, with ages ranging from 9 up to 63. There was something to keep everyone entertained, any time of the day. The kitchen was stocked so well with double appliances for large groups. The only thing we thought they were a little short on was glass wear. Just grab some solo cups at the grocery so you're not washing each time you use. The bedrooms were very comfortable and everyone having their own full bathroom was so nice. The hot tubs were great on the super cold evenings. Indoor pool was a favorite for the kids. The description to get to the home was spot on. The driveway up to the home is quite steep. If you're not comfortable with mountain roads, then you may want to find another property on lower ground. 10 out of 10 would come back again!!

Excellent house

It was an awesome house for our needs. When there was any issue that came up, the response time was excellent. We did find, however, that on the main floor the couches were very uncomfortable and very hard to sit in. The beds were very comfortable and overall the house was perfect.

Family Vacation

Our stay was amazing. The property and views were beautiful. The house is spacious and great for large family gatherings. The house was a bit worn in some places (peeling paint in pool, scratches in floor and tables) but none of this interfered with our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the proximity to town was perfect. Also the communication and attention to guests was spot on.

Lovely weekend getaway for a large group

We had a wonderful stay. This property comfortably hosted my family and my wife's family. The backdrops are incredible from the balconies. The kitchen is phenomenal for large groups (two fridges, two dishwashers, two sinks). There is ample seating and the kiddos loved the arcade games upstairs. I would recommend this property to all

Not as clean as it needed to be.

The pics on the site are way better than in person. The furniture is different on the porch/deck. The swimming pool was NOT clean at all so we didn't even want to use it. The air conditioner did not work upstairs and it was 100 degrees outside. They did send a maintenance guy who had to change the filters that were disgusting. But that interupted our retreat a bit. The stairway from the main deck to the lower deck was blocked off with caution tape as well. Overall the property itself was good but needed to be thoroughly cleaned for the price you pay for it.

Family celebration

We had the best time and everyone enjoyed this property. There were 22 adults and never did we feel cramped! Comfy beds and having a bathroom associated to ever bedroom was awesome and gave everyone the privacy they needed! The queen bunks gave our adult grandsons their own comfy bed too! The view from each of the decks was perfect with comfortable chairs to enjoy just talking, reading or just enjoying the view of the Smokey Mountains. Lots of room. Something for everyone! We enjoyed the hot tubs - the pool was awesome the game room offered arcade games and billiard competitions. The theater room allowed big screen viewing of the soccer games and movies! Even a theater popcorn machine!! Enough room for us to cook breakfast and dinners and be able to sit all together. I can’t say enough about this property. If you have a large group - this is definitely the place for you. Easy access to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!! We had no problems at all - but the fact that I received a personal text from our hosts for communication if I needed anything was great!! It’s on top of the mountain - and the drive steep to get to the house - but plenty of room for parking right outside the front door. (We had 6 cars) Overall great place to stay. Thank you Sugarland- we had a blast!!!

Amazing Home

We had a family reunion of 26 people & this home was more than comfortable for all of us. Property is on top of the mountain w/ amazing views & privacy. Home was clean, beds comfortable, & pretty much everything you’d need for a weeks stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better home to enjoy all our family who traveled from all over the US to be here. A trip we’ll never forget & already planning to rent the same home again next year.

Wedding

Had our small family wedding here and enjoyed the area for a week. Had an amazing time. The pool had some issues with temperature but that’s the only issue and pool guys were sent to try and fix the issue. We will be back!
