“We stayed the weekend at Bear Bluff retreat to hike nearby state parks and view the waterfalls. It was perfect! The cabin is exactly as pictured. Everything is new and the amenities are well thought out giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunsets and peace each evening and a calm cup of coffee each morning. The star gazing is amazing! I haven’t seen that many stars in years....

“Beautiful, peaceful setting. Loved the cabin and all the farm animals. Lots of nice touches throughout the property. We enjoyed a day of relaxing on the lake between hike days. We used the canoe, enjoyed fishing, and had our first experience with kayaking. Also enjoyed a walk around the lake. Loved our two doggie mascots and the ponies. Saw the pig and a cat but only saw the peacocks from a distance. We had lots of laughs with the rooster. He certainly took his job seriously. We highly recommend...

“This cabin is exactly as advertised. It is super cute, nicely decorated and furnished, lots of personal touches, and a fabulous view. It had everything that we needed, including a hot tub, charcoal grill and outdoor fire pit. It was quiet and very relaxing. And all the places we wanted to visit were nearby. We will definitely be back.”

“This was the perfect stay for me and a friend who were visting the surrounding area for the waterfalls. We mainly needed a place to sleep and this little cabin was perfect. The small kitchen had everything we needed and the shower pressure was better than expected. There wasnt much room for "hanging out" but there was a table outside and a fire pit.
