Duck and Bugs cabin

The cabin has a lot of charm and the lake is beautiful. It is very close to stores and the race track. We all really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic place to stay.

The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our stay. It has a wonderful deck for the whole family to enjoy. The rooms were just perfect for our large group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The living room and kitchen area are large and provide space to enjoy each other's company and meals.

Fishing getaway for labor day weekend was perfect. Our first time to Boone lake and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer. The boat stayed tied to the dock all weekend. Boone lake is beautiful and the house is amazing with great views from the deck. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Thanks so much for the great hospitality! The gift basket when we arrived was a really thoughtful touch. I would recommend this cabin to anyone! The views are breathtaking and the home is warm and inviting!

Short trip

It was a short weekend trip, but the accommodations were perfect. The house was impeccably clean, and very well stocked, with bathroom essentials, board games available, and a well appreciated welcome basket of snacks. The location was very relaxing; we sat on the dock by the lake until well after dark. We will return again and plan for a longer stay.

Highly recommend this property.

The property was perfect for our needs. Nice view of the lake from the dining room. Well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable and had great views too. Felt welcome upon our arrival with a lovely card and gift basket with snacks. The property was easily accessible for my mother with limited mobility.

Wonderful place! Absolutely stunning surroundings! Communication with the owner was seamless! They were super kind and responsive! We even had a little welcome basket and card! Love the personal touch! We will be back (maybe when it’s a bit warmer!)

Will book again.

I stayed here for the weekend with my family and we all loved it. So relaxing. I have a very stressful job and needed a getaway. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and we fished most of the trip. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The check in was so easy and we didn’t have a single issue the whole stay. Will be booking again.

Great birthday weekend

Beautiful place to stay. Would go back for sure. Longer next time. The only thing I wish they had was a king size bed in master. The house had everything that you can need. Next time I will take water shoes and a bathing suit to enjoy the water.

Clean, spacious, quiet / secluded, with easy access to a dock for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking (equipment provided).Perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends. It has a grill and a well-equipped kitchen. I suggest you bring food because the nearest city / large town for going out to eat appears to be Johnson City, about 30 minutes away.The only hiccup was an insufficient supply of bath soap. I imagine this was a random oversight and is unlikely to occur again. Overall, a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Christmas Vacation

Two adult children and their parents stayed here and we all thought it was great. Everything was as stated on the website and it was very clean and organized. We thought there should have been some kleenex there, but that's really minor. My son banged his head on the overhanging pans, but that really was his fault. We had a really nice time there.

Great Getaway

We stayed here last year. It was as wonderful as before. Looking forward to a return visit. Fantastic memories were made. Peaceful let close to everything. Cleen and well appointed. The snack basket was a hit. Upon arrival there was a small unforeseen electronic hiccup. The owners were easy to contact and came right away and fixed the problem. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend.

Our recent stay at this charming lakeside cabin was nothing short of magical! Over the course of five days and four nights, a group of eight of us celebrated my brother's bachelor weekend in the most serene and picturesque setting imaginable.From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the cabin's incredible riverside views. The dock provided the perfect spot for morning coffees and evening reflections, while the tire swing brought out the inner child in all of us, filling our days with joy and laughter.The amenities truly made our stay exceptional. The grill and fire pit became the heart of our gathering, where we cooked delicious meals, shared stories, and created lasting memories around the warm glow of the fire. We were grateful for the ample firewood provided, which kept the atmosphere cozy and inviting throughout our stay.Nestled in a heartwarming neighborhood, the cabin offered just the right amount of privacy and relaxation. It felt like a peaceful retreat, yet still conveniently close to any essentials we needed. We're already looking forward to our next visit and wouldn't hesitate to rent this cabin again. This place truly exceeded our expectations and left us with a treasure trove of unforgettable moments.

Fantastic Adventure

Location was far enough out to feel secluded but close enough to restaurants and stores that you could get anything needed very quickly. Property manager was incredibly quick with response times. Had a minor tech issue and received a response within minutes on a Saturday evening! The kayaks and paddle board were great. Our family had an awesome time. Definitely recommend.
