Eagles Nest, Creekside with Firepit

  • Situated on a knoll above a mountain stream this pet-friendly log cabin in the mountains with a fire pit, covered decks, linens provided, and professionally cleaned. Enjoy nature, dip your toes in the ice-cold creek that runs year-round. Quality appliances and good spaces to enjoy with friends and family. Rent the sister cabin across the creek and down the street if you need more room. Save money, stay at a vacation rental home that you can enjoy for two nights or a week. This cabin and its furnishings have been lovingly curated by the owner and you will enjoy the area, we are sure you will return year after year. Watch for deer and white squirrels in the yard too! The pet fee is $50 per pet. Firewood is not provided.

    The Host
    As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone. Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable. Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage, and trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
    Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions. The digital guidebook has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores, and popular destinations. Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

We had such a lovely visit! My twin 11 year olds played in the brook that ran on the property and loved every minute! We enjoyed fires at night & the proximity to everything was awesome!

Fantastic!

Loved it!

Perfect location, not far from town or the many hikes/waterfalls we went on and saw. The size of the cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Sat outside a lot on the porches, so relaxing listening to the creek at the edge of the property. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything was excellent. The cabin, exterior space, the instructions to check in, access the property, check out, proximity to all the stores you need for your stay. The pictures of the exterior don’t do the area justice. It’s a lot better than the pictures.

Cute and cozy mountain cabin

The cabin is cute and how you would expect a cabin in the mountains to look. Huge plus: the cleanliness of the cabin and the area surrounding property. The location is perfect for little kids to run and play near the water. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

The Best

My wife and I needed a getaway. This cabin was perfect in every way. Very quiet, except the sound of the stream. Exceptionally clean and very well maintained. We will be back.

We left some personal clothes in the cabin after we checked out. White Squirrel team called us and helped take care of sending them back to us. They were FANTASTIC and SUPER RESPONSIVE in taking care of us. 5***** service, very, very much appreciated.

Lovely Creekside cabin

Cabin was super clean and cozy! Plenty of linens and nice washer/dryer. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils. Could use more basic spices, only had salt and pepper. Beds were comfortable and plenty of sleeping space for 4-6 people. Would be nice to upgrade master queen to king size. Porches were so nice to listen to creek and relax with coffee or wine. Creek was a huge hit with my kids just learning to fly fish, they were able to catch a few small trout. Property was cool for exploring. Firepit was nice. Steps down to creek are slippery when wet so proceed with caution, but lighting on path was very nice after dark. House was good proximity to Pisgah for hiking and town for shopping. Overall a great experience!

We had a wonderful Girl's Trip at Eagles Nest Cabin! The location on a babbling creek could not have been more peaceful. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. All of the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the down comforters as an extra touch. We will certainly be back to the Eagles Nest soon!
