We hosted our Christmas here due to many of our nine family members coming from out of town. This was a very comfortable choice! We picked it for the 1st floor layout. The pictures are accurate. The full-sized dining room with solid wood chairs, the eat-in kitchen, and well appointed living room with LOTS of seating were a perfect arrangement for the family. We catered most meals, but the counterspace, appliances and pots/pans are more than adequate to cook small or large meals. Note: there were no cookie sheets/pans for baking at the time. The 1st floor bedroom is great with two beds, two closets and ample room for two adults. Bedding was nice memory form with supportive pillows. The upstairs bedrooms have sloped ceilings which adds charm, taller people may need to remember to duck getting in and out of the beds. Consider bringing your own throws for sitting in the living room or extra cover at night if you want them, we didn't see any for use.Lockable access with the keypads is only via the side drive and the side staircase, and both are well lit outside. Inside, we had to use mobile flashlights to see the home and lock keys on the interior black keypad. You must be inside the home to unlock and use the front entry door which is the entry with minimal stairs. Also this entry is not well lit like the side. Lighting is very good in all rooms, except the dining room has 1 low wattage overhead light.
