“Location of the hotel is great, room was good, staff were very nice, but 2 reasons they dont deserve a 5 rating
First, some scammers got the data of my reservation and tried to trick me into clicking on a link, or i will lose my reservation, how the info was obtained? Been a customer of hotels.com for a long time and this was the first time this happened. Sent an email to the hotel and they acknowledge some of their customers reported a similar situation, got a template email response from them...

“The room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and the personal service at breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is quiet and is located near tram lines, which was very useful. It was a great place from which to navigate the city, especially the historic district. One difference is that there is no front desk staff to assist if you have questions, so you have to be a little more independent in arranging things such as taxis. However, a helpful online guide is provided.”

“I whole-heartedly recommend staying here! Overall, it’s a wonderful property and I had a great experience. My only slight drawback was that the air conditioning in the dining area was kept very low—which made having a glass of wine or a meal a bit uncomfortable given how extremely hot the weather was in the region. Otherwise, a fantastic stay!”
