Casa de Wilson was an awesome place to stay. The house was very clean, the staff was wonderful, the location with pool, dock, outdoor amenities and incredible views couldn’t have been better. It truly was an excellent experience! Having a chef (Salvatore) who was amazing just added so much to the experience. Lisa and Francisco met all our needs with smiles, always going the extra mile. They made a special birthday celebration with decorations and an amazing cake (not to mention steak, chicken and lobster dinner!)! This was an all around five star experience for all 9 of us.

Serene and beautiful! We often saw dolphins jumping about in the water!!

Christmas in Belize

We had 2 families with ten total adults staying in this home. Plenty of space for all. The staff was amazing…can’t say about them! Helpful, courteous and hard working. Loved the dock in the front of the property and used the kayaks and paddle boards daily. Excursions were set up ahead of time and everything worked flawlessly!

This house was amazing! It was way beyond our expectations. The size, pool, beach, and location were all perfect. We had a group of 15 adults and kids and it had everything we needed. The staff was awesome, especially Chef Julia. We ended up getting her for 2 extra days. I would 100% recommend this house if you’re looking for somewhere to stay with a large group, you don’t even need to leave.

Best vacation ever

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was just amazing. The villa was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for a week vacation. Both the chef and the housekeeper were exceptional. The pool was stocked with floats and cleaned periodically during our visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

This was one of the most wonderful vacations ever! The staff was amazing and helped in every way possible. The house was clean, large, comfortable and well maintained. The pool was kept clean and the grounds in great shape.

We had a week long stay at Casa de Wilson August 2025. The villa was absolutely beautiful, decorated tastefully, comfortable beds,amazing pool and dock. There were 11 of us and we could have easily accommodated 3 more. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the accommodations and surrounding areas Victoria kept everything clean and in order and our chef Brittany provided 3 days of wonderful food! Susan had arranged several outings and all exceeded our expectations! It was an incredible vacation!

Our family of 10 adults, a 5 yr old and baby stayed a week at the Casa de Wilson. Was such a wonderful week. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. The staff made the week extra special with how well they took care of us. Linda the housekeeper and Julia the cook were amazing. Elver was there for anything we needed outside or maintanance wise. I would highly recommend having Julia cook for you. All of our meals were so good and she adjusted to any schedule or requests we had. The outside area was so roomy and had an incredible view. The pier was great for morning coffee sunrise viewing and stingray spottings every morning. The drive to town was an easy 15 min drive and we had a couple of great dinners at Omars. Definitely would recommend and hope to return again.

Perfection!

From the spaciousness of the home to the comfort of the furniture, bedding, etc. we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the week. The outdoor amenities were as nice as the indoors. Private pool, outdoor kitchen with dining, fire pits, dock with comfy chairs and hammocks! They have truly thought of everything to make your stay as nice as possible. Highly recommend this property! Oh and I almost forgot the staff that we had at our beck and call! Chef prepared meals, private masseuse, laundry and housekeeping services were impeccable.

Amazing family vacation

Eleven of us stayed at Casa De Wilson in Maya beach. The property is absolutely stunning, pool was absolutely perfect and the flow of the house didn’t ever feel cramped. Victoria was there every day and took such amazing care of the home and us. Answering questions and recommending/arranging excursions, massages and restaurants. The boys fished off the pier everyday and caught all different ocean creatures! The house has everything needed for a large family to cook, socialize and have drinks around the pool. We were sad to leave Victoria! I would highly recommend Gecko vacations and Casa De Wilson!

Family dream trip

On our trip we had guests from ages 15 to 73 years old. We had a group of 11 women from TN, OH, and TX. The property we stayed at was one story which was perfect for some of the older people in our group. Victoria took great care of us and make sure we had everything we needed at all times- laundry, cleaning, and answering all our questions. Our chef, Brittany made the most amazing meals with fresh ingredients and fresh seafood. Boat day, spa day, and the river float were the perfect activities for our group. Ericka helped us book our excursions and all of our dinner reservations for the week. The sunrises from the pier every morning were absolutely amazing. This trip allowed us to take multi- generations from our family and come together to make memories that will last a lifetime.

What an amazing time we had in June renting Casa de Wilson through gecko vacations! From the very beginning Erica in the office worked with me on details to make this a special trip to celebrate my husband 60th. She was always patient and always willing to handle details With professionalism and her inside knowledge of Belize. Once we arrived to the house, our staff of Elver, Victoria, and Brittney ( chef extraordinaire!) Took care of us and treated us like family. Perhaps the Best example of amazing hospitality was the night we hired a DJ ( thank you Erica) and celebrated my husbands 60th. They were there early to make the pool area spotless, prepare favorite foods and do amazing decorations, including a balloon arch! By the end of the night they even celebrated with us after much coaxing to join the pool party. We of course, thanked them with a tip and it is my hope that they will stay in touch in case we get a chance to return. They truly felt like family by the end of the 10 days. I have told all my friends about our experience and the professionalism of gecko vacations.

Amazing trip!

We had an unbelievable time in Belize! Much of that is due to the Gecko team. Casa de Wilson was fantastic. Very well appointed, open, and beautiful. The pool was bigger than expected and provided a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. Our team couldn’t have been better. Erica, our concierge, was very easy to work with and helped immensely with scheduling and reservations. Once we arrived in Belize, Victoria made sure we felt welcome and worked hard to make sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Our chef, Julia, made fantastic meals that were not only delicious and nutritious, but gave us a good introduction to Belizean fare. Elver made sure the beach and pool were clean and tidy, and was available if we had any maintenance issues. Placencia/Maya Beach itself was great as well. Laid back, safe, and easy to get around. The golf cart was all we needed to get around to restaurants, local resorts and even into the village of Placencia (25-30 minutes). I would highly recommend a trip to Belize, as well as Casa de Wilson/Gecko Vacations.

Amazing

Casa del Wilson was absolutely amazing! The home is spectacular, the location was perfect for us! I can not say enough about Marlin our daily housekeeping, she was one of the best people I've ever met and she keeps that place immaculate! Erica and Elver were also so helpful, informative and super friendly! Thank you to you all for making our week in belize so wonderful!!
