We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Golden Spot with three adult couples, it was exceptional! The property was immaculately clean, and not a single thing was out of place or in need of maintenance. The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating, truly going above and beyond because they wanted to, not because they had to. This included the house manager, maintenance team, and the chef, all of whom made our stay seamless and enjoyable.
The chef deserves a special mention—he prepared an incredible variety of dishes, and even cooked the fish we caught, which added a personal touch to our meals. Everything was fresh, healthy, and did not feel mass-produced.
The beds were extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of activities. The ownership was also a breeze to work with—responsive, helpful, and kind.
The pool was crystal clear and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. The ocean was just steps away from the back door, with stunningly clear water. We had an unforgettable experience watching dolphins, schools of fish, and even a manatee swim by, all from the comfort of the back porch!
The property is conveniently situated near activities like snorkeling and fishing, which made for amazing day trips! We chose to drive the ~2 hours from Belize City on well-maintained roads without incident, and it was well worth it.
