“Lovely room with comfortable bed. Very friendly and professional staff. Could do with hot plates for hot breakfast and disappointing coffee but otherwise super breakfast with cold and hot buffet. Book a bed and breakfast room if you will require breakfast. Restaurant food prices expensive. ”

“The room was a good size and spotless, however, the walls are very thin and I was kept awake until 2am by two men talking moderately loudly in the room behind my room. Furthermore, the mattress Ned’s changing as it has two long depressions where occupants lay and a high ridge running the length of the bed. The tv was claimed to be ‘smart’ but was really dump, it struggled to get BBC1 and no streaming services were available. Very disappointing.”

Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper.
