“The pictures of your property are beautiful, but unfortunately, they did not reflect several issues we encountered during our stay. I wanted to reach out directly to share our experience, as it ended up being far less satisfactory than we expected.The most concerning issues were related to safety:1 The spindle at the top of the staircase is missing. “Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. “Our family of four adults appreciated all the attention to detail provided during our three-night stay. From pantry items to having available items like tooth brushes and cords for electronics, we felt welcome. We could walk to Whole Foods and Blue Back Square. We will most assuredly consider this home on our next visit to West Hartford. Thank you!”

“The host was very responsive. We even had 10 inches of snow one night and they had someone come and plow the driveway twice and then sent someone to shovel and salt/sand all the walks and the driveway by 8 am the next morning. The house had many amenities that made us feel at home, including spices and every utensil imaginable in the kitchen, many games and books for entertainment, and other thoughtful items in the bathrooms and rest of the house. Very well decorated with attention to detail....

“House was clean and very good communication with owners. I put 4 stars only because there was only one television which some families might not mind but was t a deal breaker we bought one and made it work. Also only window unit which is not shown in the photos so it was really cold in the front of the home vs. bedrooms but again not a deal breaker. Beautiful nature outside rabbits woodchuck birds raccoon & skunk!!! very convenient location close to grocery not far from restaurants, etc.”

“Nice quiet location for our stay. Overall well equipped but minimal silverware. Keurig coffee was provided which was a nice addition. Minimal ice, only one tray. Beds were comfortable and rooms with necessities available. Location was perfect to get to the convention center in about 12-15 minutes and close to restaurants. Host was very responsive. Overall a great stay! Thanks!”
