“We had a really lovely time on our first visit to Crete. The villa and pool are built to a high standard and there was lots of space. The views were amazing. Even though there was a heat wave at the beginning of our stay, we managed to stay cool with the ceiling fans (and the pool). It was a short walk to several restaurants and a supermarket. “We loved our time staying at Anastasia’s villa. She has furnished the property very well and had added lovely little extras like some drinks and snacks and fancy toiletries upon arrival. The bed and pillows were particularly comfortable and the upstairs terrace is great in the sun. Plaka itself is perfectly nice but there isn’t a huge amount going on there so it’s better to head 15 mins down to Almyrida beach where you’ll find better restaurants and bars!”
