Another day in Paradise and I'm loving it. I've never seen white sandy beaches before. Naturally, I'm over the moon with my first Thai island experience! Can you see how clear the water is? I'm in love with Koh Phayam. I read some accounts of people finding the island too quiet. This is precisely what I adore about it. No cars. Not too many people (you can always find a beach with no one around, such as this one). Relaxed vibe. Relaxed life. Hello from Paradise! We have started our little Island Hopping Adventure in the South of Thailand. First stop: Koh Phayam. A quiet Island which still has a true 'in the middle of nowhere' feel to it. I can count the people around me in two hands. Never been to such an empty beach before. It's lovely! Also very pleased with our accommodation: open-air shower and a huge hammock big enough for two on our veranda. Just swam in the ocean for nearly an hour - the water temperature is divine!!
