“Beautiful property with easy access to the costal path and the town of Lizard.”

“The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...

“The Old Post House was exactly as we had envisaged. Full of character, perfectly positioned over the harbour and very comfortable. Shelley helpfully gave us all the information we needed and left us to it. Parking would have been a challenge had we not been the only ones staying, but there was room in the village. In high season it could be an issue, given the small size of the place. A great place to stay and highly recommended.”

“3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog ”

“Penmorvah Manor Hotel is gevestigd op een eigen landgoed, wat heel erg mooi was. Parkeren was geen probleem er waren ruim voldoende plekken. Kamer was netjes en schoon. Personnel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was lekker. Het Penmorvah Manor Hotel is in de traditioneel Engelse stijl qua decor die past bij een Manor huis. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf.”
