The step into the shower was too high and we had to buy a step to get in it and also the floor surface was very slippy . They emailed me to say they had found them and I’d need to send them £30 to get them sent back to me. “Steve is welcoming and runs a beautiful hotel. My room overlooked the sea,and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , fresh fruits, compôte , yoghurts, warm bread and croissants. Lovely coffee. All in all I would recommend Chapter 1 as a very civilised resting place. ”
