“The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. ...

“The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. The sofa could also do with an update, as the seat cushions were really misshapened, and not comfortable to sit on. Otherwise, it's a...

“Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich um die Gäste. Das Zimmer hat gepasst, nur die Größe von 35qm wie in der Beschreibung haben wir nicht gesehen... Die Lage ist für Unternehmungen am Kap gut. Parken ist für normale Fahrzeuge in Garagen möglich.”

“The location is outstanding with a fabulous aspect to the pure white beach and mountains beyond. The staff were brilliant and the food was lovely. The only negative comment I would make would be that the property needs a little bit of TLC in the bathrooms - need updating / refurbishing which would then very much justify a 5 star rating.”
