“As much as I'd like to recommend staying here on your trip to bunny island, I cannot. The host did provide details for self check-in, but the property is in various states of disrepair. The AC is left off during the summer, so when we entered, it was hot and humid. The bathroom was left off as well and had accumulated mold. It smelled atrocious to the point we were pretty sure it would be a hazard to use it. I don't expect to incur any penalties, but the host also had many fee addendums...

“I had a lovely stay. The staff were kind, welcoming, and very helpful, and the hotel was comfortable and enjoyable throughout my visit. The only small difficulty was finding the location on my first arrival, but once I found it everything was excellent. Thank you very much for your hospitality.”

“Breathtaking view and peaceful place. Mana was incredible and even drove us to the temple and came back to collect us an hour later (which after a long bike ride was fabulous). The air conditioning worked well and the food served was tasty!”

(Worth the uphill climb and slight detour from the main shimanami kaido route!) Smooth and easy communication with the owner. Google maps location was accurate. Breakfast provided was decent. If you are staying in the property for more meals, bring more food along. Kitchen is well furnished. Will choose to stay here again!”

“We stayed at the Azumi for one night. After a dreary day of cycling, we were looking forward to some pampering. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was gorgeous - large and serene with nice appointments like a shoe dryer for wet days (genius!). The food at the on-site restaurant is very good.”
