“Very clean and well equipped. Nice area, close to other cities and beaches in Cornwall. The swimming pool was advertised as 24-hour full access but in reality was open only from 10am to 6pm and needed to book every day for each session. The private spa tub was advertised but missing. ”

“It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the B&B to the causeway out to St. Michael's Mount (we didn't have a car). But it was probably the nicest place we stayed on our three-week trip to Ireland and southwestern England! It's next to a pasture with horses and has a lovely lawn with chairs, and the bathroom and bedroom and kitchen areas are large and beautifully appointed. We wished we could stay longer!”

“Bearing in mind the time of year (Sept) weather was poor so heating inside the piggery was inadequate to heat the internal fabric of the whole unit. “This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well...

“The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
