“Lovely little place with nice ambience in a nice location. The breakfast and choices included in the price was great. My only one suggestion is re the sofa bed - matress is really not comfortable and too thin. Maybe at the very least a mattress topper could be used if the whole mattress cant be changed.”

It also annoys me how they now try and automatically add service charge to the room charge , I politely challenged this and was told that this has been introduced as the staff all earn a minimum wage .Note to hotel owners, pay your staff a decent wage !”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay”

“Currently the hotel is under refurbishment. A lot of amenities wasnt available. Including a hot breakfast on Sunday morning, which was on Saturday. Not a lot of food available on either days. Didn't have the same feel as other macdonald hotels. Rooms were far from reception, which was tricky when it was raining. Rooms were OK. ”
