“Friendly staff and facilities at the hotel are good. Nearest beach is a rocky beach. Last few KM of the road leading to the hotel is very poor. This section needs to upgrade and possibly out of hotel managements' control. They may need to coordinate with the neighboring hotels and the local authority. “The property is located quite far from the main road and I'll be honest, the access road isn't great. But that being said, once you get there, you don't want to leave. The rooms are big and very spacious. We booked the family triple room and it was huge and very comfortable. Pool was clean and inviting. You can use the kayaks at any time and go onto the lagoon. “Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). ”

“We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....

“Amazing stay at Anantara in Tangalle. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Especially Piyal our butler who made every effort to make our stay and unforgettable one. Rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom with a nice rain shower. The bed is really comfortable. Restaurants at the resort are good, we really enjoyed the Italian restaurant Il Mare (Risottos are delicious)”

“La estancia en Lankavatara fue espectacular. El hotel se encuentra en medio de una playa virgen rodeada de naturaleza. El servicio de todo el stuff fue simplemente excepcional, son la esencia de este hotel. En especial nuestro camarero Malshan se encargó de que todo fuese perfecto. Nos hicieron una cena romántica en la playa sin coste extra, nos llevaban las bebidas a la hamaca, siempre con mucha servicialidad. Suelen tener este tipo de detalles. “This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. “We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming.”
