“First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark. “The property had helpful staff, and our room was large and clean,we expected breakfast but were told the earliest we could have breakfast was 9.00am not anything earlier. We wanted to be away by 8.30 .so this wa# not ideal. The whole place needed a good clean especially on the bar.”

“From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

“Hotel itself is tired and quite run down, needs a large scale renovation. Room was clean but as with wider hotel is very dated. Hotel breakfast was poor. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Easy and free parking was a good benefit. Easy to access location wise. ”
