We are addressing the bed number in the dorm in which you stayed as we had originally put an extra bunk bed in there in order to accommodate a large group who were happy with it so decided to keep it this way. Not sure what your issue was regarding the communal area closing at 11pm and you accept you were aware of this. We rope off this area at 11pm which really should have been an extra deterrent to entering, regardless of who was in the communal area. We need time to clean it and prepare for the complimentary breakfast we provide and I’m sure you wouldn’t appreciate a dirty communal area? We also need to sleep so don’t really want to be cleaning through the night, hence the reason for having a sensible closing time for all. All staff are always very courteous to guests and I got the feeling that because you were reminded that the communal area was closed, you didn’t like it so have decided to go down the “staff were rude” route, which is disappointing as we like fair and honest feedback. We appreciate positive and negative feedback as long as it’s honest and fair.
