We had everything within the apartment that we needed for our 2 nights of stay - comfortable beds, kitchen appliances/utensils (no conventional oven), storage. All the street parking were paid parking during the weekends (just to be mindful of this if you are staying during weekends). "We had a trouble and it was nightmare to find the location GPS took us to a surreal haunted place where the building could not match the description of the building what we booked. It was 8 pm and when I tried to call at the number it said, it is not in use. although time to contact these people was until 10pm. A local tourist helped us to find the way out. Flat and property was overall clean but too much hassle to find it."

"My wife and I stayed here with our grandchildren we all loved it. Plenty of room and 3 balconies. Very comfy beds and nice sized bedrooms. Only Downside is the steep stairs and the toilet is downstairs so going to the loo on a night is a bit of a problem but apart from that everything was good. Very near to the beach and restaurants and very good Baker. Bonus 2 bicycles for your use, excellent for the trip to the bakery"

"We are Canadians coming to the area for the Armistice observance in Ypres, and also to visit Mons, Ghent and Bruges. We found the location very convenient to visit these places. As well, the cottage was well-equipped and comfortable, with excellent parking. Additionally, the host was very quick to respond when we had questions, and met us punctually when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for more."

"We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."
