The retreat was amazing, getting up at sunrise and having breakfast and coffee outside watching the mountains and the World Peace Pagoda appear out of the clouds, then watching the sun set after a long hike in the area looking down at the lake and the city lights. Food and staff are exceptional. I couldn't give a perfect score because of the steps it takes to get there, which are part of the journey, especially if you start way down the mountain. We took a cheap room in Pokhara for four days and left our luggage there, carrying only a day pack for our two night stay so as not to ask their staff to carry our luggage up and down the 500 steps from the available car park. A memorable stay.
