“A quiet and beautiful property tucked away regardless of how close it is to one of the connecting roads to the rest of Wine Country. Lovely staff who are very welcoming and friendly, always with a smile on their face. My partner and I stayed in the smallest of the villas (Hannah's Loft) and it was perfect for two. Full of the amenities you need along with air conditioner heater, you will be nice and cosy here after a long day of wine tasting and travelling around the gorgeous countryside....

“We were very impressed with everything about this property. The check-in process was very thorough and easy to understand. We loved the keypad rather than having an actual key - made it easy for different guests arriving at different times. We had three other groups staying at Cypress Lakes at the same time and our villa was the best of all of them. And the view at sunrise with the balloons floating past was amazing. Would definitely book again if we were to stay in the Hunter.”

“Overall the property was good, great size and furniture, but we were missing some TV remotes, BBQ wasn't clean on arrival (but was cleaned during our stay) and we had expected wood burning fire not gas based on original communication regarding property facilities.”

“didnt realise when i booked that we would be allocated 2 villas -luckily we got 2 very close. one was fine -a bit dated-the other was awful -needs a complete refurb, the outdoor table was so big and the chairs around it were lounge chairs not dining chairs so it was almost impossible for more than 3 people to sit at it. really uncomfortable. in general furniture was terrible-like a retirement village. 3 stars overall for this reason”

“The apartment was great for 3 couples as each room had a king bed. The apartment was clean, central and well suited our needs. With 3 lounges as well, enjoying cheese and biscuits in the lounge room with the fire on was lovely. Our only disappointment was some items weren’t there that would’ve been helpful for cooking ie sharp knives, tongs, more bowls, and there were no placemats.”

“Great stay! Unfortunately one night we were attacked by mosquitoes with all doors and windows closed and the shower head would not stay up for a shower. The view is spectacular and the complementary wine was well enjoyed thank you”

“Chez Vous is such a place of tranquility. Sit on the verandah looking at the Beautiful scenery, watch the kangaroos or visiting the lovely locals wineries, markets or have a nice hot chocolate at the hunter valley chocolate factory.”

“It was an amazing 2 bedroom apartment that had all the comforts of home. Right in the middle of the Polkibin area it was a great place to relax in.”

I was a little disappointed that there was very small tubes of shampoo etc for two person stay over two nights and a request for fresh towels seemed to be an extra forty or so dollars. I never mind paying for accommodation so long as I don't have to supplement basics like shampoo or fresh towels, particularly as the nearest shops are about twenty minutes drive away. I would have packed them myself but have stayed in hundreds of hotels and things like fresh towels and...
