“Becarefull !! All the bungalow don't have the privacy and view excepted ! We stay in the Kava, you are just up the reception/laundry with a view of reception roof (metal tile roof) you feel more on a favela than a hotel, the bungalow do not have any curtain, the terrasse it's 80% of the bungalow all open, so you are the show of the hotel. “This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. By the small beach is a lily pond and the hillside is a jungle of the most amazing vegetation. I was greeted very warmly and shown around, there is a beautiful communal area with a kitchen that is fully stocked and then you have little spaces in and outside of the fridge for the things you buy for yourself....

“The staff was concerned with us getting there before 8pm. We hurried to get there and did not stop for dinner. We arrived to check in at 5pm and the staff seemed eager to show us our rental and get out of there (we were the last and maybe only ones to check in that day).
