Summer Haven, Polis: Sea & Mountain Views, Roof Terrace

Summer Haven is a whole townhouse in Prodromi, a short walk from Polis and Latchi Marina on Polis Chrysochous Bay. Mountains, sea and quiet countryside sit together here: almond and olive trees around the house, beaches and nature trails when you want them, and Latchi and Polis restaurants open through the year.

Come for long swimming days and warm evenings in summer; for quieter beaches, cooler trails and a log fire after dinner in the milder months; for spring blossom walks and autumn light when the crowds thin. Paphos Airport is about 35 km away, less than an hour by car. Free parking outside.

The private entrance is through a gate into the front garden, which has a four-seater table for outdoor dining and a barbecue. The garden looks out to the sea and mountains and sits in a quiet agricultural setting of fields, almond and olive trees.

The front door opens into a dining and living room with sofas, a dining table and a large flat-screen Smart TV with international channels and Netflix. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house (about 30 Mbps). Downstairs there is also a separate toilet and wash basin.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a double oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, blender and air fryer.

For home working, there is an office desk, chair and laptop, with views over the front garden towards the sea. Stationery and a printer can be provided on request.

Double sliding doors at the rear lead to a covered patio and sun terrace overlooking the communal swimming pool and lawned gardens, with seating in the shade of orange trees and a second barbecue by the pool. Both barbecues are for guests to use.

Upstairs, the landing has views of the sea and mountains and leads to a furnished balcony with access to the roof terrace. There are two bedrooms. The first has sea views and a super king bed. The second has pool, sea, and mountain views, with a window seat that can be used for additional beds. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans and fly screens.

The upstairs bathroom has a shower and toilet; towels and a hair dryer are provided.

A guest app lists the house facilities, bus routes, restaurants, ideas for days out and local events.

A 12-minute walk takes you to the beach and the first of many bars and restaurants toward Latchi Marina. The nearest mini market is about 600 metres away; bars, kiosks, restaurants and shops in Prodromi are about a ten-minute walk. Polis Chrysochous is about a 25-minute walk via a footpath through Prodromi. The nearest bus stop is less than a two-minute walk away, with buses to Polis, Latchi and the nearby villages. You can hire a car or bike nearby, or arrange one before arrival.
