“We felt very welcome here. At arrival we were offered a nice cup of cofee and a good talk. Fine clean room with good beds. Nice sitting room with open fireplace. We ordered breakfast next morning and it was very good. Only thing we did not like was that the room was rather cold in the evening and night. ”
“I don't know if this place will be for everyone as the furnishings and amenities are quite minimal and it's hard to find if you arrive in Sagada by car...but once you settle in it can be quite soothing. It's a ways from the main road in its own neighborhood and it was quite peaceful sitting on the terrace in the morning or evening and listening to dogs, roosters and neighbors chatting. "The views from this place were majestic. If it's not raining they serve food in a table outside overlooking the rices terraces and mountains and also the food is really good.
The experience of sleeping in a hut was just amazing and so peaceful.
The bathroom is shared but they always clean it after every use.
Last but not least the staff is really nice and accommodating.
I would totally recommend this place to any nature lover that knows where they are staying. This is not a resort and cannot be if you want to have the true experience.
The only downside of being in the middle of nature is that transportation would cost a little more but they will help you with that. Also I wouldn't change staying there for Banaue downtown.
