“It was much warmer in the shelter than expected! It was 49 degrees the night we stayed and I actually had to push off some blankets during the night. The bathroom was clean and had hot water which was very nice. Our dogs enjoyed their time as well! ”

“This is a wonderful place to stay that is well stocked with all your needs. You will have a kitchen ready to cook in and an outdoor space to enjoy. I loved having a washer and dryer. We even got to enjoy watching a Mama deer with her twin fawns walk by. The host is great and gives you your space but also is there if you need something. “My partner and I had a great stay! The sauna was excellent — it gets very warm which is a must for us when going on vacation. The room was nice and welcoming and we were able to cook most of our meals in the outdoor kitchen. The only downside was that the kitchen was a bit chilly due to the weather and time of year. “We had an exceptional stay at Chez Zig Zag. The home is beautiful and the setting is spectacular. There are beautiful views of the water from the living and dining areas and such lovely areas to sit outside such as the gardens, swings, fireplace area and dome. The home sits high on the bluff next to the Zig Zag trail which takes you down into town. It is close to so many restaurants and to the ferry station.
