  • Welcome to Burns Bungalow! This 1940`s, newly renovated, charming home has all you could need for a wonderful NOP getaway. Enjoy the large yard, spacious floor plan, and walking distance to downtown Port Angeles. Let`s not forget to mention the short drive to the local gem, Hurricane Ridge, for breathtaking views and wonderful hikes. Cozy up with book on the couch, enjoy the outdoor fire pit or get some work done in the southern facing dining nook. Your home-away-from-home awaits you!

    More about the inside space: This home is 968 sqft, boasts a nice open floor plan comfortably holding 4 guests. There are two bedrooms with queen mattresses, a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living room, washer & dryer. We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to; wifi, linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, oil for cooking, salt & pepper, tea, coffee, and creamer.

    More about the outside space: At this home there is plentiful street parking. Guests have access to fenced in yard, patio, outdoor seating, and fire pit! Feel free to bring your furry friend, or children as there is access to a large fenced in yard.

    Why this location and home? Port Angeles is truly a hidden gem. No matter the weather or season you visit, you are sure to find yourself on an adventure! This home is located in the middle of it all, allowing easy access to downtown Port Angeles, and close to many outdoor activities.

    Parking in the alley by the garage is recommended and there is street parking on north side of home as well on Lopez Ave.

    We will be available by phone or message 24/7 so please don`t hesitate to ask any questions. This home provides self check-in. All property & guest guidebook info is available on the airbnb app.

    This home is located on a dead end street near Lions park. A short 7 min drive to downtown PA and the BC ferry. Only 1 mile from the Olympic National Park Visitor Center and base of Hurricane Ridge, 25 min to lake crescent, 57 min to Sol Duc Resort, 27 minutes to Salt Creek Rec area, 20 min to Elwha River, 1h 24m to lapush, 1h 56m to Cape Flattery, 1h 48m to hobuck and much more!

    This home is located near town and public transportation. If you are looking to explore the various activities this area has to offer, we do recommend having a vehicle.

    We charge $50 per pet as a fee for hosting your furry friend. If there are additional cleaning fees that incur during your stay related to pets, you will be charged accordingly.

    *Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is approximately (11am) unless otherwise talked about with host... the charge is $25 per 30 minute increments. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.*

    *There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*

    -Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. Direct bookings (website): 4% fee. This fee covers third-party processing costs and is not retained by us. Thank you for understanding!
    -Maximum number of guests not to exceed 4.

    -No pets without prior written approval and payment of pet fee. Pets must be attended at all times, cleaned up after and must be kept off of furniture & linens.

    -Only use fire pit if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the fire pit, is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the fire pit – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters, Duraflame Logs.

    -Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.

    -Please attend to all children when around the creek. You are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to ensure your safety and the safety of those in your party.

    -Be a good neighbor. No trespassing onto neighboring properties.

    -This house uses a septic system; ONLY toilet paper can be flushed.

    -Because we keep our home sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

    -We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in house.

    -Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.

    -No illegal drugs allowed.

    -Please be respectful of our neighbors. You`d be surprised how sound travels through the neighborhood, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.

    -Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.

    -No smoking of anything allowed indoors, smoke it outside please.

    -We are honored you decided to choose out home, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. Any such behavior will result in immediate removal from the property.

    -Want to stay an extra hour or so? Should be fine but requires approval, let us know in advance.

    -Please stay out of the attic, crawlspace, shop and storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.

    -PARKING – Parking is limited to 4 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. Any illegally parked cars in the community are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

    -Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the home.

    -Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to this home or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.

    - Check-out: Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise talked about with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.

    -We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.

    -Please do not play with or tamper with the decorations on walls or shelfs. These are for guests to enjoy, not for play.

    -Violations of these rules can result in additional fees or immediate cancelation of your reservation and removal from the property without refund.

    License to Occupy Only; No Landlord-Tenant Relationship.
    Guest acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement creates a revocable license to occupy the Property for transient lodging purposes only. This Agreement is not a lease, does not convey any real-property interest, and does not create a landlord-tenant relationship under any state or local law.

    Primary Guest Responsible for All Occupants.
    The individual who books the reservation (“Primary Guest”) hereby accepts full legal and financial responsibility for (a) themselves, (b) all other guests, occupants, invitees, visitors, or persons allowed onto the Property (“Additional Guests”), regardless of whether such persons have signed this Agreement. Primary Guest represents and warrants that all Additional Guests shall comply with all rules, policies, and terms of this Agreement. Any breach of this Agreement by an Additional Guest shall be deemed a breach by the Primary Guest.

    Indemnification and Hold Harmless.
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Guest and all Additional Guests shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Property Manager, and their respective members, officers, employees, agents, and contractors (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, fines, penalties, attorney fees, or costs arising out of or related to:
    (a) Guest’s or any Additional Guest’s use or occupancy of the Property;
    (b) violations of this Agreement or House Rules;
    (c) personal injury, death, or property damage occurring on or about the Property;
    (d) actions or omissions of Additional Guests, invitees, or third parties allowed onto the Property.
    This indemnity applies even if only the Primary Guest executes this Agreement.

    Responsibility for Unauthorized Guests.
    Primary Guest is responsible for ensuring that no person enters or occupies the Property unless disclosed to Owner or Property Manager. Primary Guest shall be liable for the conduct, damages, and violations caused by any unauthorized guest, whether known to Primary Guest or not.
